So I'm probably one of the few watching this, but man after the should've been series finale, this isn't that good...
They are now teaching med school after they destroyed the original Sacred Heart....and they changed the theme for some reason....and it isn't as good as the original...

So Lucy is the new Elliot? I'm trying to get into it but I just can't for some reason...and I'm a long time Scrubs fan...

I thought Zach Braff wasn't coming back? Is this just a guest spot to ease the transition or is he a full timer?

wow....that was pretty brutal.
I was all for the idea when I first heard about if they did it right, but it just felt really convoluted like it couldn't really decide if it was another season or a spin off series. I also think they should of waited till later in the season to Bring back JD. I really like all the interns of last season and was disappointed to only see Denise return. I find these new characters to be pretty much unlikeable.

It was a pliot episode, and it showed. The parts that were Scrubs were pretty good. The Med School part of the show, still needs shakedown. Overall, I'm was entertained, and I am willing to give them the full run before I decide if I should continue watching.
But seriously, Scrubs is a lot more fun without Carla.

I enjoyed it, not as much as the "real" Scrubs, but still funny.
I hated the idea of continuing Scrubs, but I changed my tune a little after I read this from Zach Braff's Blog:
"I know many of you will have very strong opinions on this topic. And I respect them all. But first and foremost, if any of you were in a position to put about 200 people whom you really loved back to work in this economy, you would do it in a second."

I really don't see why the interns of last season couldn't be the main cast this season.

I'll cut out all the bullshit in that and go with the real answer of ABC threw us a boatload of cash and we said deal....

And suddenly, I don't have as much of a problem with Scrubs continuing. Although, I'm still not forgiving Zach Braff for somehow making that stupid Shins song popular.

The first of the two episodes last night was hit and miss. But overall, I enjoyed it. The second one felt more natural, like they weren't trying to rush anything. I LOVE Scrubs, its my favorite comedy ever. I wasn't sure what to think about this, but I like what I'm seeing so far and will give it more time before I decide if it's worth having the Scrubs name on it.
Oh and they didnt get a new theme for the show. Just a new mix of the same theme. Faster, poppier, less indie is the best way I can describe it. Still Lazlo Bane though, or so it said in the credits.

I thought Zach Braff wasn't coming back? Is this just a guest spot to ease the transition or is he a full timer? I think he's going to be on the first 6 episodes. I only saw about half of it and it was okay. Not great, but not horrible. I think a lot of the Scrubs magic is just gone for me. I think that humor only has charm for so long, and it wore off a few seasons ago. But I'll be checking it out and hope it does well.

I thought it was all ok, but I was a little thrown by JD being there and still being a primary focus. It made that last episode seem less meaningful.

Re: JD: Look, you have to think of Scrubs: Medical School as a back door spin-off. The reason why this is going to be old series heavy is because they need to use JD et al to retain the old audiance while introducing them to new characters, so when JD does go into recurring status, the show will have retained enough of the audiance to stay viable.

Its a real shame Aziz Ansari couldn't come back because he's doing Parks & Rec.
That guy, plus Denise & Sunny could have made for a great show.

I thought it was pretty decent. I was wary about the show coming back after the finale last season but overall, I like what could go on with Scrubs 2.0. I liked Lucy, especially as the new voice. I'll be back next week.

I didn't hate it. Loved Denise last season and am enjoying her thus far this season. Cox and Kelso are the best characters on the show and I'm glad they're staying.
As far as the newbies go I like Lucy and Drew but Cole is an awful character. I hope he improves. Why did they only bring back Denise from last season? I liked Sunny and the nerd.
Lastly the new set is a nice breath of fresh air and sets it apart from the previous seasons. I do wish it wasn't called Scrubs and was officially a spin-off as Season 8 ended the show so well.

Well, I thought it was pretty good. There were some moments where it needed improvement, but it certainly felt like Scrubs. {Spoiler}Loved the Janitor cameo.
"When's he coming back?"
"Never."
*leaves*
"And he was never seen again."
