I don't think I've ever thrown one, no. I always had the habit of either slamming my fist into my leg or slapping it whenever I'd get ultra frustrated. It hurt, but it didn't cost any money.

I would say that no Pro Evolution Soccer Master League is complete without this happening ATLEAST once a season.

I smashed an N64 controller to pieces once because of No Mercy.

Not me personally, but I do remember one incident where my brother was playing Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island on the Super Nintendo and he was getting quite frustrated with it. I believe he was fighting one of the bosses at the time, probably the giant crow. Anyway, he kept dying and finally he couldn't take any more, lobbing the controller at the system and catridge! Part of the controller broke off upon impact and I do believe he also broke the game as well. Luckily, the SNES had better fortune and survived.

Lots, probably the most recently was playing Punch Out!! on the NES a couple weeks ago. Think it was during the 2nd Bald Bull fight when I screwed up the timing of knocking him down on the Bull Charge

I have playing Uncharted 2, fighting Lazarovich on Crushing difficulty. It was so bad that I had to go to youtube to look for a way to cheese him, and I did so successfully. All you do is run and gun! Roll when necessary. No need to cheese him. Use what few grenades you get wisely. I've thrown controllers. I've punched holes in walls. I've snapped game discs. I've thrown game cartridges. I've hit consoles. I've pretty much run the gauntlet. Dude once that guy goes into YOU WILL NOT, STAND, IN THE WAY OF DESTINY mode he gets freaking impossible. He never misses and moves so freaking fast. I can't run and gun because I always miss and worry about running right into those pits.

Yup. Ninja Gaiden on Xbox. Was having trouble with that giant Dinosaur Fossil thing in that cavern, but finally got him down to a sliver of health. It then tail swiped me out of the blue and killed me again. I didn't raise the controller, but I kinda just thrust/threw it to the ground. The funny part is that it hit my big toe and cracked the nail right down the middle.

Indeed. Many controllers have met their maker because of my frustration.

All I have to say is "Stuntman" It made me angry just reading that word. Though I found that you do feel like you accomplished something when the stunt goes well.

God of War II, when trying to move the statue across to the switch, all the while a flaming wall of fire and harpees from out the ass are trying to stop you. Pain in the neck.
That and the sports games of course.

Yeah I went through 4 PS2 controllers because of it
As mentioned due to current controller prices, I now usually throw a chair when angry although in my defense its usually a fold out chair I use for gaming

Nope, never. If I get frustrated by a game, usually I just quit and back off from playing it for a little while. But even back in the NES games, I've never thrown my controllers, just because I like my stuff to be in working order.

Yes. Or well, not thrown out the window or crushed, but I have thrown controllers in the ground or the wall. I can't ever remember breaking a controller because of it, but I did wreck my old Gameboy that way.
