So I didn't catch the ending when my friend beat the first game, but is there any explanation as to why The Joker has an IV in his arm in the trailer? {Spoiler}Not exactly. What the ending showed was that the serum wearing off is very painful and it implied that it had negative affects to taking it. But it didn't lead directly to that, if I recall correctly.

If the Batfamily doesn't show up skip. Come on Tim, Grayson, Cass, and Alfred. Alfred's a must, I think, since The Batcave and Wayne Manor will probably be included in the game. I'd love to see Dick Grayson as Nightwing make some sort of appearance, but other than that, I think we're good without over populating the game with support heroes. Agreed, but on one condition: The game can have a lot of the Bat-Family show up if and only if it has multiplayer. If not, then keep 'em the f*** out.

Batfamily with maybe some sidestory content(think playable Joker in the last game): Maybe. Batfamily just to have them there: NO!

I just want to see SOME Two Face in the game that's more than a Riddler challenge. Maybe they have him as a reluctant ally, or maybe something like what Bane was.

The only time Batman is interesting is with the family. Bruce is boring and it just being him is the main reason I only rented the first AA.

Since one theory is that this game is in the future, with an aged Joker and stuff, I'm thinking.....Batman Beyond?
Bruce trains Terry to be the new Batman, hell Terry's training can be used as the game's tutorial.
And Terry goes and kicks ass.

I'm not so sure it's in the future, because Harley still looks the same. If anything it's probably the Bane serum backfiring.

I mean, a suggestion made in that IGN video posted was that it could be a new Harley. I mean, yeah her outfit is the same, but we don't get a good look at her face.

I personally think it probably IS a side effect of the serum, and the antidote. Venom gives you enhanced strength and vitality, so what would happen if that were suddenly reversed, or flushed out of a person? You saw how wrinkly and tiny Bane was in the game when the Arkham people bled the Venom out of him. Your skin is GONNA sag if you deflate from being that damn huge.
Can't WAIT for the new game!

Bane wasn't exactly wrinkly, though. Just VERY emaciated. And he would bump himself with Venom/Titan(wasn't Titan just a stronger version of Venom?) for years.

Still, I would mark if Joker pulled the same trick with his wrinkly loose skin that Stewie did on Family Guy. "I can FLY!" ;D

Then again, one could argue, Bane's body has grown use to expanding and shrinking from constant Venom use, and well Joker just instantly shot up to a behemoth TWICE Bane's juiced size, and thus wasn't ready for it.

One question about that though....how the hell did his skeleton grow and shrink? I understand Titan works on the muscles, but on the skeleton too? WWE talent just found their new favorite drug. ;D

I second the inclusion of the Bat Family with added content. Especially if it's based off No Man's Land then we can finally have Cass Cain make an appearance longer than a five second cameo.

Can someone explain the Dark Knight Returns storyline? From the Wiki. That's the jist of it, although Superman is somehow involved. In all my years, I had no idea that was the case. I've never read the GN, but I do know of said novel. With my love of comics forming back up again, maybe it's time to check it out.

Maybe The Joker just has cancer, and he wants one final hurrah.

IMO, they should work on an online Co-Op mode that features Robin and Nightwing as 2nd player characters. Also, as for any regards to Batman Beyond, even if this game is set in the future it's pretty obvious it's not set THAT far into the future.
