For pre-sale tickets, are those different from regular tickets? Like, when the regular tickets go on sale it will be a different set, or if the pre-sale is sold out I'm just f***ed?
*I've never really been to a concert, excuse the stupid question.

As far as I'm aware, it's the same set of tickets at the same prices, you just have a better opportunity to get better seats.

Pre-sale are often for special people and for a limited time only. You'll receive a password either from the band's site, or maybe the local radio station is doing a promotion, that sort of thing. They usually only have a set number of pre-sale tickets. Once they're gone or the promotion is over, then the remaining tickets go on sale. Not every ticket is going to be available during a pre-sale
