It can be for the comics, animated series, short lived live-action show, whichever you prefer.
There's a running gag in my house related to the pilot of the cartoon- whenever a report airs on the news about a robbery of some sort, we quote one of the Idea Men explaining their motive: "Well, we thought we'd steal a lot of money, and then we'd be rich, and we wouldn't have to work anymore."

Interviewer: Can you blow up the Earth? Tick: Egad! I hope not. That's where I keep all my stuff!

The Tick vs. The Tick is my favorite episode. Too many memorable quotes there.

I love the episode when the Tick and Arthur go back in time to the Stone Age. Arthur's all depressed and chisels notes to Carmalita on stone, telling her about the day to day events; he would say stuff like, "Today I think I'll invent agriculture."
Tick, on the other hand, fits perfectly in the time period, saving little animals from Sabre tooth tigers and wearing animal skins, saying that "I am the Tick! Earth's first Superhero!" or words to that effect. ;D

"So... What's your best wurst?" - The Tick, talking to a butcher about sausage. That's easily my favorite line. You'd be surprised how many times that can be used in the course of conversation.

I love the episode where the group has to go into the sewers and find out that, in his home turf, Sewer Urchin is a badass who lives in this mansion: ![](http://www.thetick.ws/images/urchin%27sapartment.jpg) The Tick: You are so cool down here! Sewer Urchin: Oh yeah. Down here I'm considered the apotheosis of cool.

"We can use these catering suits to sneak inside."
"The Tick caters to no man!"
One of my favorite lines from the show.

I was watching another cartoon on Fox and then the pilot episode played and I was hooked from the get go.

The show had some nice continuity going for, namely the CHA moon. Some of my favorite moments that I can remember were when The Tick was trapped in a giant loaf of bread ("so...warm"), turned into some French-speaking bird thing and the whole El Seed episode. As an aside, Sentinel Prime from Transformers Animated shares his color scheme, chin and voice actor with The Tick. tfwiki.net/wiki/Sentinel_Prime_%28Animated%29

Everything related to the Tick is golden.
From comics, to animation to live action.
I even liked that crappy SNES game.
