I noticed that the Muppets singing Queen got like 10 million views so the question popped into my mind what is most viewed vid?

Avril Lavigne's song Girlfriend had it for awhile. It had nearly 100,000,000 views a couple of years ago, back when so much as 10,000,000 put you in the top 5. The issue with that was someone posted the vid on an Avril Lavigne fansite and hacked the embed code so it would loop every single time the video hit the end. Not only that, but every time the video would loop and replay, it would count it as another extra view. The site then encouraged anyone who came across it to simply minimize the window with the vid, mute it, and let it run so it could rack up views. Youtube found out about this and unless somethings changed lately they no longer acknowledge it as one of its most viewed movies.

But yeah, recently that Charlie Bit Me movie that serotonin posted took the crown from Evolution of Dance. That Muppet Bohemian Rhapsody one though is climbing damn fast.

As far as original content goes, that's probably up there. But I'm sure there are plenty of music videos that generate a ton more views in a shorter amount of time.
