Hatred's pretty bad as their bodyguard. Wonder if they'll end up firing him and bringing back someone else? I mean, that ugly Dean clone got the better of him! That never would have happened to Brock! Season 1, Brock got whacked in the head with a wrench by Jonas Jr. JJ had at least twenty years to plan on how to neutralize Brock, and he's a genius.

Not to nitpick, but "He has 20+ years and is a genius" doesn't exactly jive with Wrench to the Head...... I mean Wrench to the head is more a criime of opportunity, Not something that takes 2 decades of planning and a genius level IQ. I mean Brock may be Nigh-Invulnerable, bt my guess is it's all about concentration and preparedness, if ANYONE caught him unawares, Brock'd be toast. Case in point, Brock and Molotov (In a flashback I believe and in Molotov's debut sequence) are fighting in a motel room, matching each other blow for blow. When Brock's distracted by the possibility of getting laid, Mol's able to stab him in the kidneys, despite both hands being reletively free, and showing in the scenes prior that he could easily defend against her and throw her like a ragdoll.

I didn't say he planed out the attack, what I think happened, is that he knew everything that there is to know about Brock Sampson, and was ready for him, and using his resources, devised a plan to take out Brock. I mean, knocking him out with a wrench, is a pretty good move, if nothing else, you have to sneak up on him, and JJ would know exactly how to do it.

I realize that point in hindsight, but in just a cold read of the post it sounds like he spent 20 years and a genius intellect on the plan to brain Brock with a Wrench.....which given the show's overarching theme of failure and spectacular failure at tht actually makes good sense.

Another question: Are Rusty and Dr. Mrs. The Monarch becoming.....friends? She's always had some amount of sympathy for Rusty. He's certainly attracted to her, but I don't think the sexual interest would be mutual. I could be wrong, though. Rusty is oddly charming when he's in his element, like with the woman in the jungle whose name escapes me.

Her and Trianna's friend, who was going to join the Guild. THAT's one dangling plot thread I want to see get resolved, if for no other reason than to see Hank's reaction when she shows up to arch him. You know how he worships Brock...maybe that chick could be like Hank's own little Molotov Cocktease? Always fighting him, and teasing him, but never letting him get to her. ;D

Thoughts: *Hatred: "Being a former pedophile, I know a thing or two about snatching young boys..." GROSS. *Why hasn't 21 tried to have JJ clone 24? HE could probably do it in a heartbeat. First, we all knew this about Hatred already. The first time he was ever mentioned was when Myra kidnapped the boys and Hank remarked that it was quite similar to the time that Hatred kidnapped and molested them. Oh, and JJ seems to operate under a code of "morals", whatever those are. Pfft.

By the way, I have two theories on Dr. Mrs. The Monarch's boobs getting bigger:
1. She got breast implants.
2. She's pregnant.

Shelia (Dr. Girlfriend, Lady Au Pair, Dr. Mrs. The Monarch, Queen Etheria) has never really had a grudge against Dr. Venture, nor has she understood Monarch's obsession with him. Which makes perfect sense, she's apparently one of the best in the field of villanry, yet instead of robbing banks, or stealing technology, or fighting someone who matters, they keep going after Rusty for some reason.

I had to laugh out loud when they DID try to arch someone who "mattered" and got their asses handed to them by JJ and his Voltron-with-a-clown head-for-an-arm. But you know, she had the same problem with Phantom Limb too. His idea of villainy was to rip people off with forged paintings. I get the sense that SHE's actually the best villain out there, amongst the Guild. I mean, who else comes close to the ideas she has?

By the way, I have two theories on Dr. Mrs. The Monarch's boobs getting bigger: 1. She got breast implants. 2. She's pregnant. 3. The artists just wanted her boobs to look bigger. As was noted before, her breast size seemed to fluctuate throughout the episode, like they didn't know how they wanted them to be drawn. In fact, there was one scene were she looked almost flat-chested.
