Speaking of JJ and the Overarching theme of failure, Can it be assumed that EVERYTHING about JJ may in fact be an elaborate front and freakishly good publicity?

What, you mean like, he's not really how he seems to be? I've believed that since the beginning. He's destroying Rusty in a different way....taking his name, his publicity, his contracts...he's trying to take EVERYTHING from Rusty, so that before long, when the public thinks of Dr. Venture, they'll think of him first, and not his failure of a brother.

By the way, I have two theories on Dr. Mrs. The Monarch's boobs getting bigger: 1. She got breast implants. 2. She's pregnant. I'd LOVE it if it was the second one. Oh, the places this show could go with THAT. I guess, but I'm guessing that won't happen. That pair is written as a RVD, if you get my drift. Besides, they treat the Moppets and Henchmen as the "children."

So, according to the commercial for the next one, Phantom Limb returns, and Hatred proves even more how horrible a bodyguard he really is.

Finally got to see the episode. Holy crap, that was good. Great story on 21, loved how Dr. Girlfriend was showing more personality with Dr. Venture, and you can see Sgt. Hatred's torment building. I'll have to try that trick next time a robot starts hassling me.

"You can use it as a Halloween mask. Maybe Dean will want to dress up as a middle-aged security guard."
But yeah, is it just me or did Dr. Girlfriend look extra sexy this episode. And no, not because she spent the entire episode in her underwear and her boobs were bigger than normal. Particularly in that scene between her and Dr. Venture, she just looked cute. And I'm sure she still feel sorry for turning Rusty into a worm in the first season. I still maintain that if cartoons were real life, Dr. Girlfriend would probably the the first one I'd go after. I don't even mind the voice.

I think it shows that Dr. G is more the Monarch's non-hateful half. She actually seemed friendly with Dr. Venture, and that just made her totally sexy.

Well, yes and no, it's almost as if he's overcompensating for everything and given his parasitic origins taking the "Scraps" of other scientists and improving them. Basically Reforms Pirate Captain, steals another scientist's wife and ward (Sally & Ned), inherits His Father's Island and legacy and goes about fixing all of his Dad's old stuff. Hell, Ventronic could be a rehash of a Soriyama or Otaku Senzuri design. Add to that a weird predilection for removing.......unnecessary (in his eyes) parts of anything (No mention of Rocket Impossible, glossing over Rusty in the Museum, Rusty from himself) and he's a seriously messed up man-child

Definitely enjoyed it and will be buying the DVD set, but this was a really heavy episode with a lot of character development. 21, especially having the big-boy realization at the end was a huge shock, because his whole gimmick is being a man-boy. Same with Sgt. Hatred, you knew they were going to make him a sympathetic character, but that was a bit more than I expected.

I guess we'll wait and see. ;D I think it's the ghost of 24. "Suicide" was also added to the list, IIRC. I think they're setting it up so that Orpheus has to help 21 put 24's spirit to rest.

Same with Sgt. Hatred, you knew they were going to make him a sympathetic character, but that was a bit more than I expected. As much as I've always liked Hank, I think 21's my favorite character of the season so far. Just to see him handling the death of his best friend by turning into a badass kinda made me proud. With that said, I was a little disappointed with the end of the episode, though it made sense. I was glad to see that 21 actually became #1 and was kinda hoping that he would become a supervillain of his own. But like he said, even he admits that he can't do it as well as The Monarch.
