Or like everything else in VB, it was designed as this all-powerful-mysterious weapon. Then when they decided to bring it back, they thought it would be HAHA if it was broken the whole time. But this rises a new question: What exactly would Alchemist do with an invisible arm?Did I miss something? I didn't even see him in this episode...in fact, have we seen Orpheus at all this season, outside of that three second snippet in the first episode?

I was making a reference to season 2's finale when you had said Alchemist finding one of Limb's....err, limbs. Everyone thought by the innuendo that he had found Phantom's "sex" limb.
Instead turns out it was just his arm. Notice Limb has a wooden prosthetic arm and missing another arm.
Good attention to details.

Good eye....and I never, ever would have thought to put them together. Actually, I was kind of wondering about the arm, but had forgotten clean about Alchemist picking it up. What the hell WOULD he do with it? Or should we even ask? LOL!

He used it on the robo-dog at the Guild HQ.

No, there were two limbs. Someone found the arm, and Al found the, well, you. Frankly, I'm not sure what Al would do with either part. I just assumed it a was a gay joke, and that was that.

Thing is, I wonder what Limb would have been doing to lose _that_ limb, assuming it was what we think it was.

Well, if he did lose the "limb" that we think he lost, then no wonder he went crazy.

Did anyone else like "Future Rusty Venture's" Spider Jerusalem-looking glasses? I didn't catch that but I've been reading a lot of Transmetropolitan lately that I was thinking the entire episode that Rusty Venture and Spider Jerusalem are somehow separated at birth. Anyway, so is The Guild of Calamitous Intent made up of classic rock stars? Bowie is Sovereign (which BTW I would've loved Dean to run the Guild for more than a minute), Iggy Pop and Klaus Nomi were his bodyguards, and now we have Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Brian Eno?

Yeah, and Shore Leave/Holy Diver is Freddy Mercury. At least would be if he was in GCI instead of OSI.

Thanks. Looks like we're getting a Hardy Boys and Astro Boy* parody, along with the original Wonder Boy. *=Does it have guns in its butt like AB?

Next episode, well I'm glad to see that Monarch goes back to basics. Oh, Pedophilia jokes. How amusing.

Besides, I take it taht those pedo jokes bother you but to me I like how they went forward to try to make someone that I'm sure these boards would outright despise (to say the least) into a joke, but also a sorta likeable if loser lug as well. I mean give Doc/Publick credit for doing that. Yet somehow imagine Seth McFarlane doing these jokes. Lets just say he would be less subtle.

Indeed, I hope they are recurring. Did the shoe operate like some sort of boomerang because Limb used it, or is that some probable feature of Dr. Girlfriend's shoes always present? Might be the latter, maybe a leftover from her Lady Au Pair days. Perhaps it goes with her evening gown from Victor. Echo. November. I think you're reading into it a little much. I think it's hilarious how Sgt. Hatred is trying to relate to Hank. And I feel so bad for Billy. It is doubly funny that Hank is the one that Hatred tries so hard to relate to. When Hatred cried out, "Hank hates me!!" I fully expected Rusty to point out that Hank is the one that actually remembers Hatred kidnapping and molesting them.

Also, Hank at this point is trying to be as much like Brock as possible, which means he's mimicking the aggression that Brock showed to pretty much everyone. It's also another reason I want Trianna's friend to come back...it would give Hank sort of his own little "mini Molotov" to deal with. ;D

It's part of the baggage of that character. That's why I loved Hank's remark of "Yeah, we get it. You're a pedestrian." It showed that A) the creators kinda realize that they're running the whole pedophile thing into the ground and B) made it funny again.
