hey at least Billy and Pete got their money back.
Though I guess one scene does explain a (disturbing) shot from that ComicCon promo.

Seriously, I love Venture Bros., but can anyone explain what the hell just happened? I felt like there was some huge joke I was missing.

You know, costumed fighter with supercar and fortress, who also had quite a few boy wards as sidekicks in silly colorful costumes? And Kevin Conroy, who voiced Capt. Sunshine, was Batman on that great cartoon from the 1990s. Loved #21 as a Wolverine parody.

As great as last week's episode was, it was good to see just a good old-fashioned superhero episode.

He was the voice of Batman for all the DC Animated Universe series from about 1991 till about 2005. edit: why joo gotta edit and make me look silly, yo?

Yeah, but I figure he's probably got his own ideas about Batman having played the character for so long. Probably thought it would have been cool to do something like this. I'm not going to argue with it. It was awesome.

My thoughts about the episode:
That was one huge Batman homage that I thought was funny as hell. Man, Captain Sunshine is f***ed up.
The Monarch was funny as hell in this one. I loved it when he kicked Dr. Venture in the balls and ran off with the money. That was smart. Yet, he showed some stupidity later on by shooting Captain Sunshine with that solar gun. Didn't it occur to him that that might repower him?
Damn! Hank was pretty good in that fight against Monarch and 21.
That news team is the worst disguise for that superhero group. They make Superman look like Lon Chaney.
The ending was fantastic. Poor cab driver.

Wow, after watching a season where the Guild seemed to be little more than an weird social club, actual supervillianry! I like it.
I liked Ghost Robot. A literal ghost in the machine.
Next week! Dean clone gone wrong.
Also, 21 as Wolverine was pretty good.

Anyone else get a vibe that Capt. Sunshine and Sgt. Hatred are gonna team-up sometime? Perhaps against Scorpio?
PS - I liked how the lube actually was for the bed slide and not for...you know.

I thought Scorpio got dead real good?
Hatred/Sunshine teamup would be terrific. Except only in Thailand.

Captain Sunshine yelling "Slumber party!" just made me burst out laughing, along with his freak out when he saw the Cocoon over his house.
