Not everyone, especially the experts, gets the future right.

It's a bit paraphrased but:
"It'll never work. It sounds like a bunch of f***ing Pet Sounds"-Mike Love on what would pretty much be regarded as one of the best pop albums ever.

If it were 5 years later, he'd be looked at funny (for starters).

There already are indications that the mania for twitch games may be fading" - Author Michael Crichton, 1983 in Electronic Life To Crichton's credit, the "twitch games" he was describing were first-wave arcade games, and there was a horrible videogame market crash in the early 80s. The games that revived the market were very different from the 1st gen stuff Atari and others put out.

Viewers will continue to follow Who wants to be a millionaire if it's on 6 days a week. -ABC Executive. Well, to be honest, for a certain time, it worked. Unfortunately, what killed Primetime Millionaire was 2 simple things. The over abundance of Celebrity programs and 9/11. Why 9/11? Well, that was the catalyst for all of the celebrity shows that were on. At least half of the shows after 9/11 were Celebrity programs. Everybody wanted to donate to the charities of fallen lives and firemen that gave up their lives. For My Prediction. "I think Family Feud will be cancelled after one year without me." - Louie Anderson. Well, it's lasted 8 without Anderson, and doing well with John O'Hurley on a minimalist production budget. That's something to be proud of.
