I didn't see a thread for it, though if I overlooked one feel free to lock.
Saw it today - ads didn't look all that great, but I enjoyed it. Not perfect, but it was definitely good and I had fun with it. No really classic music numbers or anything, though - a few kinda aimed for it, but more went for the whole, "This is our Oscar pitch!" route of stuff like Colors of the Wind.
Related, is a shame Oprah didn't sing.
Was a tad bit surprised Ray didn't get a Disney Death, but then there was no real other way to tie up his whole love for Evangeline Kitty McDowell.
I think whenever I get around to replaying Super Paper Mario like I've been meaning to do, I'll have to give a cry of, "It's mucus!" any time I kill an enemy. What better line to send someone to Hell / the Underwhere with?
Also, Triton - most obvious cameo ever.

I don't feel like it was promoted as much as it should have been
Maybe because the princess is black or Disney just doesn't care anymore

Was on the Fence, but Oprah there makes me not want to see it.

Was on the Fence, but Oprah there makes me not want to see it. It's just in a really minor role right at the beginning as Tiana's mom. Just two scenes, and in the second one she barely speaks.

For all of the hype this movie has been getting over the years, I was really left scratching my head at the lack of marketing for this movie....the ads only say that it's the first animated Disney film in years and just leaves it at that...
I was tempted to see it last weekend, but decided to just stay in with the Mrs. this weekend...

$25 mil is not that big of an opening week though, at least compared to most of the new animated movies people watch.
Also, everyone talks about it bringing "the classic Disney magic back". Judging from trailer/plot synopsis, it is more 90s Disney than "classic era", at least in terms of its plot focus.
