I remember renting this game when I was a kid and really enjoyed it. Fester's Quest was good too.

Ah, I remember playing this game. Fun stuff. I think I still have the Nintendo magazine that gives a bunch of tips for it too.

Brought back a lot of memories watching these. This was one of my favourite NES games, and IMO one of the best for the system. Just look at those graphics, the music was sweet too and the gameplay responsive and fun. I can only speculate that it never gets the plaudits and recognition that other games do because it came out relatively late in the life of the console and/or because it was a movie tie-in and people shyed away because those are so often dreadful. But this was truly one of the few exceptions to the rule of video games based on movies being terrible.
