You know those little icons on the bottom right of your monitor? How do you get rid of them, if need be?

Um, can someone really help? It's called "IGuard", and I tried deleting it elsewhere, but it's still stuck there in the lower right, and I need to get rid of it, as it's a scam, and constanly is interrupting things.

Try using the search in your start menu, and delete every file that shows up.

Sounds like a virus.
You have any anti-virus programs that you can run in safe mode?
SpyBot Search and Destroy or AVG Free can help you.

No, it's not a virus, it's a virus protector that's a sham.

I left clicked on the taskbar and selected propeties and select customise under the Icons section and found the icon and selected HIDE when it happens to me.
I'm using Vista BTW, not sure if it works on XP too

It looks like I did it, and not it seems to have died.
Thanks!
