Never gets old. Probably one of the greatest finishes of the decade.

Oh and how in the heck did I forget this...
And finally this, all of those awful years earlier in the decade were worth it...

![](http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1255/1235111460_f2b42ce3f3.jpg) I was here for this game! On 9/16/06, Chunichi's Masa Yamamoto becomes the oldest pitcher in Japanese baseball history to throw a no-hitter. Also, ![](http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y137/firearmofmutiny/2007do-age.jpg) Chunichi wins their first Japan series in 53 years in 2007, ending a Cubs-like drought. (In that it was BY FAR the nation's longest championship drought)

Even though the Indians haven't done much of note this decade, I can always relish the following events: ![](http://www.genx40.com/images/2004b/22yankees583.jpg) ![](http://cdn1.sbnation.com/entry_photo_images/12289/124293_aptopix_indians_yankees_baseball.jpg) Not to mention a 19-1 pummeling in 2006.

![](http://news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia/1620000/images/_1624091_gonzalez_afp300.jpg) Someone figured out how to hit the cut fastball. Well, someone figured out how to bloop it behind a drawn-in infield. But a hit's a hit, I suppose ;D For me, it's 2004. I don't even have to say anything else. Just "2004", and you know exactly what I'm talking about.

It would be a tie between Essendon Bombers winning the 2000 Grand Final and Essendon Bombers beating North Melbourne Kangaroos in the biggest comeback in AFL History

One of the most improbable wins in NCAA Tournament history. When it goes to OT you just know UConn is going to pull away. And yet..

Never gets old. Probably one of the greatest finishes of the decade. Even in 2009, I still say I was choked up for Junior and Mikey there. Too bad Park couldn't celebrate with them, though at least his car was intact at the end of the race. Adding another one for NASCAR, I'd also have to do this, 8 years after the video Speed Racer put up: The commentary crew for TNT gets a huge pat on the back. They made this sound epic, yet the analysis of the crash was spot-on. Brilliant!

I should note i was actually at the 22-0 Game i was one of the 2,000 people who stayed the whole game.

Giants over the Patriots in Super Bowl XLII.
McNabb 4th and 26 against the Packers.
Jeter Flip Play to Posada in the '01 ALDS against Oakland.
The 3-0 Steelers/Dolphins MNF Game in '07 just for the hillarity of how awful it was to watch.
The Syracuse/UConn 6 OT Game from The Big East Tournament this year.

You would expect me to say "2004". Well, nothing can ever top your first.
