Everything in this movie is so half assed, that even the half assing was half assed. Making it Quarter-assed.
Anyway, the biggest glaring problem (outside of Superman having eye-telekinesis, and the terrible everything else) is that the writers, producers, directors, and actors all seemed to forget that there's no breathing in space. Even if Superman and Nuclearman can survive in space, how is it that Muriel Hemingway was able to be in space.
Did she inherit Ernest's trademark toughness which made her stronger than the average human, enabling her to survive in the vacuum of space?
Literally, everything was wrong with this movie.

I think one explanation I read was that Superman has an invisible force field and could transfer it to her on the moon. Superman 3 was bad as well but it did have Lana Lang relationship that was nice and Clark Kent fighting Superman in a junk yard.

Noooclear Man is the greatest villain ever.
At least, in my 6 year old mind he was.

There's so much weirdness going on in that movie it's a wonder it was even put out, there must have been some tax loophole thing going on I imagine.

They run out of money 5 months early and the new producers, Cannon, just decided to release it unfinished.

Quarter-assed, LOL. I liked that. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Yeah, Lacey and Nuclear Man in space was a HUGE GLARING PROBLEM that no one bothered to actually think about. And where was he taking her anyways? Going to somewhere more private like Jupiter to fool around? All these glaring plot holes and logic snafus aside, it's still a better movie than Superman 3. That one was just downright embarassing.

the episode of Family Guy where they got super powers and Megs power was her nails growing a couple inches always reminded me of Nuclear Man.
