I can almost guarantee my parents will get stuff for my daughter this Christmas that she will LOVE & that we, as parents, want her to have. And how so?
My mom was diagnosed with a Stage 3 Kidney Disease. Thankfully, it is not deadly, doesn't need dialysis, or cause a fear of her losing her kidney. But part of it has made her extremely exhausted, plus seeing doctors for treatment. I am almost positive she will be alright, so I am not to worried about it.
Well, due to this...tonight, she asked me if she gave me money, will I Christmas shop for my wife & daughter from her & my dad. Instead of my dad doing the shopping, since he actually has ALOT free time then me to do so. Hell, he's on Facebook all hours of the day, playing them damn apps....he's an addict. LoL!
So now I am in charge of my daughter's Christmas presents from my parents & I couldn't be more happy. There are times they barely follow my daughter's list of what she wants & there are times they get her stuff we don't want her to have.
I know what Christmas is all about & I try to teach this to my daughter.
So is this a bad attitude to have for me, knowing for once my parents will get my daughter stuff she definetly wants?

Grandparents generally get stuff a little out of touch. I remember my grandpa buying all his kids that talking Urkel doll, shoulda seen the grin on his face as he looked at his children and step children.

No. Not at all. You're helping your mom out, which is probably the greatest thing I think anyone can do.
You deserve to go to Estrada's restaurant again. Go nuts. My treat.
