I said ONE of the worse. Not THE worst. I still don't understand how you can say tekken 6 is bad though, it's the best tekken game to have walls in it. Well for one thing, this game kind of had a lot of hype, at least for a fighting game. I mean the first teaser trailer for it on the PS3 back in 2005 made gamers cream their pants, then the announcement that it was going to 360 as well made them cream again, and finally after all the long years....we get....THAT. Ugh.

That's the thing, it is just GOOD, not great. Hell, even the critics agree it isn't as good as the rest of the series. Only two games in the series have lower average scores, Tekken Advance and the original Tekken on PS1.

I couldn't find a review that said that, I just heard a bunch of people complaining about how horrible online play was (which apparently has been fixed, I can't comment because I'm no where near the skill level to play online as of right now) and how bad the scenerio mode was.

Well for all the faults Tekken 6 has, at least it is still playable. Unlike King of Fighters XII which, aside from the amazingly piss poor online, the lack of their most famous female character/franchise icon Mai, and game breaking glitch that only occurs when two specific characters fight, you'll still find a pretty shitty game.

Always making myself the outcast, I know.... but I'm freaking GLAD that Mai and her helium-filled comedy boobs were left out of KoF 12.
Blue Mary, on the other hand, should have been there.

I don't think anyone ever played as mai, but people always liked that she was there.

I don't think anyone ever played as mai, but people always liked that she was there. Well not only that, but come on, the vast majority of gamers don't know what the King of Fighters IS, but they do know who Mai is, or at least they know what she looks like. That's more than what can be said about the rest of the series' characters, despite how iconic they may be amongst fighting game fans.

Actually, I've always been surprised at how many people seem to know who Terry Bogard is... a-yup.

He's a dude, so no one outside of fighting game fans know who he is. Come on man, gotta remember, to most gamers, their fighting game experience is limited to Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, any other series, well, the average gamer could hardly tell them apart.

Terry's actually probably a bit better known than that just because in earlier days of bringing anime over to the US, the 2 Fatal Fury OVAs (and 1 movie) came over, and he's got a bit of extra exposure through that (and yes, I know that Mai was in at least the movie as well).

that plus terry bogard has an extremely simple yet recognizable character design.
the red vest, the red trucker hat, the jeans, the red chuck taylors. while that's a very simple design, he stood out because no other character in video games looked like that at the time.

Terry's design brings up a good point, when you stop to think about it, a LOT of iconic characters are simple. Ken and Ryu are just two guys in different colored martial arts outfits. Mario and Luigi just have shoes, hats, shirts, gloves, and overalls, etc.

In my honest opinion... Dragon Age : Origins is one of the best games ive played in recent memory... alot of original ideas and it makes the Fable series look decrepit and weak. Its almost like what Fable should have been.

Its almost like what Fable should have been. I always took Fable to be more lighthearted a series then the stuff BioWare usually produces. Yet for all that Disney feel it IMO doesn't have near a compelling story to it. Still Fable is a good game.

To bad the online netcode is terribad and the balance in the characters is horrible and it took out every single Custom Fighting style for the character creator. Funny story about SCIV's online, when my roommate got it and played online, all he found was everyone playing as Kilik because his weapon was long range and was very cheap in the wrong hands. So after getting trounced repeatedly by Kiliks, he decided to play as Kilik himself and do the same thing that everyone else did to him. He won his first match but the post-match message from his beaten opponent was the real victory: "Get a new move, dirt farmer." To this day, my friends call each other "dirt farmers" whenever we do something cheap.

Just picked up Prey for $4.99 at the local video store.
Another game I probably won't get around to playing for a long time!
