What musical artists have released the most stuff in their time?
My first nomination is Buckethead: He has 26 solo albums as Buckethead, 21 of them in the last decade and 4 this year, he's released six albums under the moniker of Death Cube K bringing the total up to 31 solo albums and 5 this year, in 2007 he released a box set of 13 albums entitled In Search of The..., and two special releases of earlier recordings, if we count all of that he's up to 46 solo albums, one extended play, and two demos.
Now for his collaborations;
He released an album with Brain "Brain" Mantia under the name "Kevin's Noodle House"
He's released three albums with keyboardist Travis Dickerson,
In 1993 he released an album with Swedish bassist Jonas Hellborg and Drummer Micheal Shrieve under the name Octave of the Holy Innocents.
He's released nine albums with Viggo Mortensen (yes, that Viggo Mortensen),
He was the guitarist during the project between the aforementioned Travis Dickerson and filmmaker Alix Lambert,
He did an album with both Brain and Travis Dickerson called The Dragons of Eden.
He was a member of the Deli Creeps whom released two demo tapes, the soundtrack to Flesh for the Beast, and one album
He's done 10 albums with his band Praxis, an everchanging musical project lead by producer Bill Laswell.
He's done ten albums with his band Cornbugs.
He's created three albums with Japanese musician Shin Terai.
He recorded much of Gun's N Roses' Chinese Demorcracy.
His band Cobra Strike has had two albums
He had another with Brain known as Pieces which released an album.
He had a group called Giant Robot which released one album.
He released an album with Les Claypool, Brain, and keyboardest Bernie Worrell known as Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains
Released one album as a jam band Gorgone.
He did an album with other musicians as Science Faxtion
And he collaborated with musician That 1 Guy under the name the Frankenstein Brothers and released one album.
So he's had 19 bands or collaborations with artists and 55 albums with those bands. So all together, Buckethead has released a total of 104 albums including extended plays and demo tapes.
That took way longer than it should have.

My second nominee is Frank Zappa, who released 80 albums include posthumous releases.
