The Stevie Richards chair shot is beautiful.
Payback for beating up the Blue Meanie. I think he hits him with the backrest of the chair too for added pain.
Ouch.

I remember hearing the gave Meanie the win over JBL in order to prevent Meanie from suing the company over JBL legit attacking him. In retrospect, Meanie probably should have just collected some money.

The bWo should've spraypainted "JBL is bloopy" on his limo.

I wish it had been clean. Meanie can go toe to toe with JBL, ya.

Meanie probably hoped he would get a job from it. In retrospect, he should have, since he'd be a perfect fit for today's ECW and kiddie WWE in general.

Plus has anyone ever successfully sued the WWE or even got a settlement from them ever other then Owen Hart's family?

It never made sense to me that a freakin nasty chair shot, DDT, and moonsault from a 290 pound man wasn't enough to pin JBL.
But a Batista spinebuster finishes him off no problem.

How many times are people going to question Batista? "But Tank, what about him screwing all the Divas..." Game Genie. "But Tank, what about all his title shots....." Game Genie. "But Tank, what about burying every..." GAME. GENIE.

The bWo got a pretty good pop there. They should have brought them in for a shot at a long term thing, but really had no intention of doing anything beyond what it took to not get sued. It is that pettiness that gets in the way of doing good business sometimes.
Then again, if Meanie is employed for a long period of time in the PG version of the WWE, the fact that he had a long term relationship with the woman who set a world record for sex acts with different partners in one day might come up. That was not an issue during his short stint during the Attitude days, but then again I bet Vince did not know about that then either.

I think it got Blue Meanie more attention than he'd had since his first WWF run, so I think all in all, the beatdown was oddly one of the better things that ever happened to him. If getting the crap beaten out of me got me a lucrative paycheck, sign me up.

what r nova and blue meanie up 2 these days? He's still livin in the Philly area. Ran into him at a bar back in February. At that time he was working day shifts at a porno/video store, and wrestling on the indie scene at night. That weekend he was headed to a show in NY and had to turn back around a few hours later cause he had to report to work on Monday.

Yeah it was odd, that was like the only time JBL had those sorts of recuperative powers as a heel. When he was just Bradshaw though, he was a pretty tough customer.
