Use this thread to give honest feedback (not pointless whining & moaning) on the general movesets of WWE's CURRENT TALENT TODAY IN 2009.
-- I like that lariat-like clotheslines are being used a little more regularly than guys other than Cena. That's good.
Please cut down on the running bulldogs. There are 3 guys on the roster who use it regularly (Jericho, Punk, Hardy) and Punk is the only guy who can kind of get it right, consistently. Please have Jericho just stop doing it since he hasn't cleanly hit a bulldog in I don't know how many years.
Please consider bringing back the abdominal stretch and sleeper as more-commonly used restholds. They're easy to do without botching and would add some variety.
Please come up with a different top-rope spot besides the 2nd rope superplex. It's the single most overused, predictable highspot in WWE for several years running. I know it's dangerous up there, but maybe we could try something different? Back suplex maybe?
More headbutts. They are interesting strikes that are different than regular old clotheslines and open-handed punches.
Hugs and Sugar-Sweet Candy Kisses,

Headbutts = Concussions too easily so that is why you don't see more of them and I thought Jericho used a Facebuster that the announcers just called a Bulldog?

Armbar. Jamie Noble was doing it to finish matches at one time, but I want to see submission holds like these done more often.

Sure. Worked headbutts where there's little/no contact and the other guy immediately bumps like he's been knocked over by a truck? Not nearly as dangerous. Jericho still uses his running-off-the-ropes bulldog where he barely grabs the back of the other guys' head, then falls on his ass. There are times where it seems like he's about to lose his grip and botch the move. It's very hard to believe it as any kind of offense.

More suplexes, slams and DDTs. I want to see some CAW stuff going down.

More submission moves that can reliably end matches. Part of why Angle was so awesome in WWE was because of how anyone and everyone could be made to tap out to his Ankle Lock. And it was a move that could come out of nowhere. It added a sense of frenzy and suspense to his matches, because you almost certainly knew it was coming, and once he got it in, his opponent was instantly in a bad situation.
When Jericho locks in the Walls, I don't even get excited anymore because it never ends matches and after guys get out of it, they don't even sell it like it did anything.

Definitely more submissions. I know WWE thinks it hurts the faces image to tap out, but that isn't so if they built up a submission as something dangerous that could injure someone if they dont tap.
Plus back in the day almost everyone tapped or submitted now and again. There weren't many guys who never submitted and the few that never did were either guys with special gimmicks like Foley or Undertaker, or someone like Hulk Hogan.
It wont hurt Cena to tap, especially with all of the damn PPVs and big time matches these days it barely means anything.

Scrap Jericho's entire moveset, and replace it with the Fujiwara Armbar.
I'm sorry, ARMBAR!
Seriously

In fact, us old timers remember that it was his old WCW finisher. I wanna see the Crucifix Powerbomb make a return Matt Hardy uses a sit-out version whenever he faces someone smaller than him.
