Yeah, how many of you have actually even seen Bruno when we was Champion? Screw "drawing power" Thats like saying Batista had a better WWE Championship reign because I wasn't born to see any of Hulk Hogan's title reigns in the 80's.

Paul London and Brian Kendrick becuase they were great at acting like underdogs. In every match it was believable that they could lose. They played their roles just as well as any main eventer mentioned, and they wrestle a lot better. Honorable mention goes out to MVP.

I went for Honky Tonk Man - he was the longest reigning Intercontinental champion and in a time when the IC title was genuinely a big deal. It meant so much when Warrior finally beat him.

Out of those choices I'd have to say Sammartino. Where's Backlund by the way? His first reign was almost six years. Well, first and second if you want to get technical.

You forgot Gregory Helms (Cruiserweight). Of course, that belt never was given much thought, even when the brands operated their own PPVs.

I'd say probably Bruno, for the whole historical importance.

Wasn't the longest reigning Hardcore champ Big Bossman for all of about four months?

Bob Backlund did have some long reigns, but I only included the longest reigns and Bruno still beats him out. You forgot Gregory Helms (Cruiserweight). Of course, that belt never was given much thought, even when the brands operated their own PPVs. I only included the active titles hence why titles such as the hardcore, European and light heavyweight title are not included.

But you've been exposed to Hogan since them, I'm sure. I don't think I've ever seen a single Bruno match EVER, let alone during his reign of doom.

I don't think I've ever seen a single Bruno match EVER, let alone during his reign of doom. They put two or three of his matches on the WWE Championship DVD but yeah, his work is hardly widely available. But then that's natural, considering the time period - even most more standard TV shows didn't keep consistent tapes during the 60's.
