What over the top event would you like to see happen to start a more adult targeted era?
Personally I would like to see Orton fed up by being defeated by some babyface order DiBiase and Rhodes to use him as a human toilet in some kind of sadomasochistic ritual. But hey, that's just me.

I still don't see anything kiddy about it persae. Family-friendly doesn't automatically mean it's for kids alone.
Anyway, how 'bout Taker slitting his wrist again? That was fun.

I'd personally like them to get away from the over the top immature stuff that was oh so common in 02-06.
But if I have to choose I'd pick some kind of tribute to Katie Vick in turn sending Kane back to his insane self.

Didn't they actually have that in one of the Smackdown games? Something about pushing one of the wrestlers off a roof. |

Didn't they actually have that in one of the Smackdown games? Something about pushing one of the wrestlers off a roof. Hogan pushed Big Show/The Giant off the roof in WCW in the mid-90s. |

Also, Big Show threw Angle off a big thing, and there was that thing where he was on the ground, and blood was spurting out of his head. |

Don't even announce it as a big event. Just have like two Divas start wrestling but as the match goes on, they just keep getting more and more into it until they suddenly start making out. It'd be so random that it just might work. |

One of the only things I really dislike about PG is that Orton's post-injury return character is pretty neutered by it. I mean, he has the psychopathic killer look down pat but he can only go so far in terms of violence.

I would laugh if they took a page out of FMW's book and had exploding ring deathmatches. Also, seeing the WWE attempt something like Brawl for All would crack me up too. What I don't understand is that some of the Attitude Era Raw episodes were TV-PG and so was Nitro from 95-99. Yet, those episodes seemed to have more mature material than what you see on Raw today. Was it because the rating standards had just been established? |
