Kinda dumb, but entertaining, like alot of things in the AEra.

Though twas a bit corny and over the top watching even back then and for 'Attitude Era' it was pretty lame.
However Ministry Taker was the top of Takers career and his best years (IMO). He did have worse years and moments including his feud with Giant Gonzales (93) and King Kong Bundy (95) just to name two. This segment was a throw away Attitude Era segment. While his feuds with Bundy (or Million Dollar Corpation) and Giant Gonzalez came to an end at wrestling (and WWF/E) biggest events of the year (Mania and Summerslam)

I kinda liked Russo's take on Undertaker: Over the top, but completely evil.

Undertaker, much like Kane; has had too many highs and lows in his career to have any real defining point.
I have a feeling it's the stuff like this that caused Undertaker to sour on the gimmick though. Looking at it now it's pretty fun, but then again - so is a lot of the over the top stuff from both the attitude era and todays era - fun doesn't always mean it's good though; especially in the long run. Are people seriously supposed to believe after blatant attempted murder 'Taker will just calm down and have a wrestling match so the feud can have a blow off? There needs to be limits.

I'd say goofy mask Undertaker was pretty low for him.

Have we all forgotten him fighting himself? Oh yeah there was that one as well in 1994. Taker didn;t really take off until the Attitude Era (he did win two titles by that point but wans;t really the 'man' like a champion should be when he wins the belt). His first really good Mania match with proper build and was made to really mean something (even 13 was over shadowed by Hart/Austin and Hart's heel turn/. With no proper build toward the championship match) was WM 14. Kane's character was starting to be waterd down and ruined by end of 1998 and completely ruined by 2000. Kane didn;t have much of a 'monster run' in WWF/E.

I'd say goofy mask Undertaker was pretty low for him. The mask was pretty fitting for the character and he looked like Phantom Of The Opera which is what they were going for. Also he didn't have a facial injury at this time (legit and keyfabe) and the mask was to help the bone heel and keep him on the card. Especially at a time when the WWF roster was paper thin.

I was 14 at the time of this...and scared to death. I was 16. Love this watching it again. Although back then I would have understood what danger Austin was in if they bothered explaining what an embalming actually was.

I just love how his grand plan was to murder a man on national TV, like the police wouldn't notice or anything.

If I remember rightly, Lawler did give a brief description of what an embalming was during a match that night. I only know this as that was how I learnt what an embalming was
