Meh No No (Austin was more entertaining) Goldberg/DDP? (Only match i thought he may lose or cared) WCW Jericho should have ended it IMO.

He's alright.
Not as bad as everyone says but not great. Last real ready-made star to debut in WWE, after plenty of them did in the Attitude era.
Didn't start watching WWF til mid 98 and didn't take up WCW until a few months into 99, so can't way.
I dunno.
WWE.
Jericho.

I did during his initial run. No Yes Goldberg/Regal WCW Jericho wasn't a big enough name at the time to end Goldberg's streak, so I'd say DDP.

-Yes, absolutely loved him as a kid and learned to appreciate him on different levels later on. When he was against the right opponent, he could be amazing. DDP, Regal, and Jericho have proven this. -No, the feud with HHH was godawful like everything else HHH did that year. -Yes, I'll never forget have heated debates at baseball practice over who would win in a fight. -vs. DDP @ Halloween Havoc 1998 -Either. -Hard to say, but when Kevin Nash ended it, it clearly wasn't the right time.

No No No vs. Nash at Starrcade WCW was most memorable so that one I guess. Not Crush 'Em either. Raven's Rules for the US Title.

1. Yes 2. Nope 3. Austin defined an era, Goldberg was just super over 4. Vs DDP, Halloween Havoc 5. WCW 6. Not when they did... should have continued well into next year.

1) Bought into the hype at first, slowly lost interest. 2) No way he should have gone over Rock and Jericho. 3) Absolutely not. 4) Him beating Hogan for the WCW title was fun, even though I was rooting for Hogan in that match. 5) WCW 6) Don't really know, but it shouldn't have gone on as long as it had.

The only time I popped for Goldberg was when he returned for Rodney Mack's "White Boy Challenge".

His run was awesome...
I loved his match vs. Hogan... should have been the biggest Starrcade main event in the history of our sport.

Did you like him? Yeah, I loved him as a kid. Hated him as a teenage smark, and now I like him again. Did you like his booking in WWE? It could've been better, but it could've been worse too. He did pretty alright for himself there. Did you see him and Austin on the same level in 1998? Yeah, back when it was happening they were pretty equal to me. Favorite match? Probably vs. DDP at Halloween Havoc. Just an awesome, awesome match. The Regal match was great too. Better entrance theme in WCW or WWE? WCW. It's not even close. When was the right time to end his streak? Good question, I'm not entirely sure. I think it should've lasted a little longer than it did and end more legit than it did, but y'know...it is what it is.

I think Goldberg is a pretty cool guy, eh smashes car windows with his hands and doesn't afraid of anything.

1. Yes I liked him a lot. 2. Nope, they didn't use him right at all, but I did like some of the matches he had in WWE 3. Yes they were about at the same level, but I think Austin was a bit more popular. 4. I have a lot.... vs DDP at Halloween Havoc 98, his matches against Sting, vs Hogan on Nitro, vs Raven on Nitro for U.S. Title, a lot of others, but I'll leave it at those. 5. Theme was way better in WCW 6. I'd personally say maybe sometime in late 1999 or 2000. but I don't know to what opponent. I've always thought even way back then, that there should have been another guy who came in or at least a wrestler they had already who went on a huge winning streak just like Goldberg. Then they face off at Starrcade in a match all the fans would want to see. Guarantee it would have drew huge money with the right guy in the role.

Did you like him? Did you like his booking in WWE? Did you see him and Austin on the same level in 1998? Favorite match? Better entrance theme in WCW or WWE? When was the right time to end his streak? Yes. I've always liked wrestlers with intensity. His moveset was awesome too. I actually saw him as being a bit bigger than Austin. I never knew about ratings and buyrates till way later. I liked both guys equally though and I was hoping to see Austin vs. Goldberg in 99. I had given up on Raw by the time Goldberg arrived but from what little I've seen it was pretty horrible. WWE seems to mess up people who were stars in other promotions. It was like what they did to Vader. I thought him wearing a wig was pretty funny though. There's several. I loved it when he beat Hogan for the belt; it was a shocker at the time because it seemed like it took an act of God to get Hogan to actually lose definitely without any BS. His matches with Steiner, Booker T, and Sting were pretty good too. WCW hands down. The WWE theme was hot garbage. I can't really say. Looking back, he shouldn't have lost to Nash but I had no problem with it. Where WCW screwed up was when after he got screwed over by the nWo (Fingerpoke of Doom) they made it seem like he'd get his revenge but nothing seem to come of it. I hated seeing Old Man Hogan (that's one of the many nicknames I had for him growing up) have the belt yet again. It was like sending the company back 2-3 years.

Did you like him? Yes
Did you like his booking in WWE? Leaning towards a no more than a yes. The stuff involving Triple H sucked, but I liked most of the earlier stuff he did up to that point.
Did you see him and Austin on the same level in 1998? More or less.
Favorite match? vs. Diamond Dallas Page (Halloween Havoc '98)
Better entrance theme in WCW or WWE? WCW by a long mile.
When was the right time to end his streak? When it happened. There wasn't a lot more to accomplish by keeping it.

Did you like him? Did you like his booking in WWE? Did you see him and Austin on the same level in 1998? Favorite match? Better entrance theme in WCW or WWE? When was the right time to end his streak? <3'd him as a kid, hated him as a teenage smark but like him again today. His booking was all right, it wasn't perfect though. If he were on Smackdown & feuded with Brock (in '03), Taker, Big Show & Angle I think his run could've been much more successful. I didn't really put much thought in a Goldberg/Austin rivalry. I thought the idea of Goldberg/Undertaker or Goldberg/Kane sounded more intriguing. I loved his Nitro match with Hogan & Halloween Havoc match with DDP. He had some other good matches along the way. The WCW theme by a bazillion miles. It was just EPIC sounding. I always wondered why WWE couldn't have just used that one. I always wondered if Goldberg could have gotten as big as he did without the streak. But it probably should have been against DDP, It would've been cool to see Goldberg & DDP both exchange PPV wins and go into Starrcade '98 1-1 with the belt on the line.

Goldberg should potential as an in-ring wrestler, but never improved. His booking was appropriate due to his reputation in WCW. Him and Austin were only on the same level as being the top guy for their respective companies, but that is where it ends. My favorite match with Goldberg is him vs Lord Steve (William) Regal. Did not care for either entrance WCW should have pushed a midcard wrestler to be a main eventer like Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, or Eddy Guerrero. Defeating Goldberg would give said wrestler instant credibility.
