Eddie's death got to me more than any other wrestling death. He was THE wrestler of 2005 in my opinion. I honestly believe he was in his prime, obviously not physically but definitely as a character. RIP

Eddie is one of my favorites of all time. Charisma off the charts, great mic skills, and one of the greatest WRESTLERS of all time. I remember I was so PUMPED for Survivor Series because I'd get Eddie/HBK, ahwell I really wish he was still on TV when he died a lot of my interest in pro wrestling died. Really one of the best. VIVA EDDIE GUERRERO, Vaya con dios Just think this picture is AWESOME Just AWESOME

I still miss him, WWE just isn't the same without him. They say you don't realize what you have until it's gone, and to me that's very true in Eddie's case.

Tomorrow, November 13, marks 4 years...4 years since the passing of one of the best performers I've ever seen. A man who left it all in the ring every night. A man who raised the bar each time he grabbed the mic. It's been 4 long years and I still miss him. I miss the energy he gave to every feud and program he was involved in. I missed the little smiles he gave to the camera after every match. But he's gone. All that's left are the memories of the great times and the speculations of what might have happened if he hadn't left us so early. When I think of Eddie, the first thing that comes to my mind is that catchy tune he used to have. I remember the sound of "Latino Heat" coming out of my TV set, while my brother and I sat there and waited for him to get inside the ring. Even when we booed him, we always knew Eddie ment entertainment. After spending nearly 4 years of his WWE career helping the midcard, he finaly got a shot at the title. A shot that led him to the biggest moment of his career. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. After all this years, he was finally getting the attention he deserved. I stood up from my chair and literally jumped out of excitement. The months passed and his reign was over. But even if it was poorly booked, it was great for me. After one of the dumbest feuds ever concieved (which he managed to made interesting with his infamus "bed time story" promo) and a short lived title chase...he left us. It was Sunday when it happened. The next day, almost all of my classmates wore "I am your papi" shirts. We couldn't talk about what happened. We couldn't talk about what would happen next. For the next months, all we could do was remember...and speculate. Was he about to win the title? How many classic matches did he have left in him? What would've happened with Mysterio? And, on a lighter tone, would Kervin White still roam the ring? There's no way I can answer any of this questions. Eddie had proven himself to be too unpredictable to know what would have happened next. All I know is that he made an impression on me, and many others, that could never be erased. He did all in his power to please us. He stole our hearts...and was honest about it. This is exactly whta i would like to say every word, every part, Eddie was a very important part of me as a fan, he was my hero, he is one of the reasons im called Eddy, he was simply my role model, and now that he is gone lets remember him as one of the greatest wrestler on WWE.

I still remember that day very well, was a late night shift, Went onto the net, i just remember how shocked i was. Wasnt the same for the rest off the Night, 4 Years later i still miss him -------------------------- If he were still alive today, Eddie would be 42.. - My guess is he would have had some good feuds, But eventually faded to ECW maybe had a Run with the ECW belt etc. It's ashame cause there were some potentially good Feuds, CM Punk, John Morrison, Jack Swagger, Yoshi Tatsu etc. - I believe Benoit's name would still be Mentioned in WWE today, It's clear Eddies Death was the beggining off the end for Chris (Don't wish to go into detail about it) R.I.P Eddie

That's an interesting question....had he lived, what would Eddie be doing now? Would he be retired? Would he be the SD GM? I'd have marked like HELL for an Eddie GM role. Tangentially related question: If Eddie hadn't of passed away...would things have turned out as bad for Benoit? I know this is a sensitive subject but the ending image of WrestleMania XX is one that will always stick in my mind. It's unfortunate that today, that image has taken a more tragic meaning.

I imagine at this point he'd be Smackdown's Shawn Michaels- an upper-midcard face who can main event when called to do so.
And probably feuding with Punk.

Eddie was great. Crowds loved him as a face, and definately would have benefitted from the growing hispanic demographics. Also he was a terrific heel.

I started watching Eddie around Wrestlemania 2000. He put on many great matches and entertaining feuds. I had the privilege of seeing him successfully defend his title against Kurt Angle in New York City for Wrestlemania XX.
The night before I actually met Eddie and Kurt just minutes after each other at the Hilton. (they were probably in a meeting if I had to guess) He was a nice guy and took the time to take a picture with me.
Rest in Peace Eddie. You are still missed by so many.
