This would definately make everyone lose their minds. I was there for Cena's surprise appearance in the Rumble and it blew the roof of. This would be even bigger considering the severity of the injury. It would work even better if Jericho was in the ring. He could run away from Edge and cost himself the match. Then Edge would win the rumble, and Jericho would win the WHT at No Way Out or Elimintaion Chamber whatever they're calling it and face Edge at WM 26 who would then win back the WHT and go on a long run as a face champ. Of course none of this is going to happen.
"This verdict is written on a cocktail napkin, and it still says 'Guilty', and 'Guilty' is spelled wrong!"
Mm... I love Edge and all, but behind Triple H he's probably the person I least want to win the Rumble this year. In large part because Edge kind of sucks as a face.

If the Rumble is too early for Edge to return have him make one off appearance first where he costs Jericho the Rumble, Jericho gets pissed that he can't get his hands on Edge, Edge continues to taunt him via pre taped segments on the Titan Tron and then pow Edge Vs Jericho at Wrestlemania.

I'm also one of the guys who hate the idea of Edge as a babyface, because for the last several years, he was the company's best heel by about a million miles. One of those guys who should run out the rest of his career playing heel.
However, on the matter of the proposed Edge/Jericho title/mania feud, which I've seen a few other posts on this forum suggest, I'm unfortunately not really sold. I think Edge is a tremendous performer when playing heel, and I'll give Jericho his due as being able to hold up his end of a match, but as a Mania main event, would Edge/Jericho for the title really draw the kind of money that a match between either man and Undertaker would draw?
Just another reason why giving away Jericho/Undertaker on Smackdown is a stupid booking move on the company's part.

Well I don't want him back too early. But if he could heal up by then, it would be incredible. Just his mere absence would have him entering the Rumble as a super face and an odds on favorite. Probably wouldn't win though, as I imagine him and Jericho are slated for a match at Mania, providing his injuries are mended.
I will admit I've never seen him as a face, having trouble imagining it to be honest! I certainly could see him as a tewner, he will come out all smiles for the crowd but resort to old habits

Is there a rule I don't know about that says Taker can't face him again? Frankly something using this match as a reason would be better than just another guy coming out of the woodwork and challenging him.
In fact I think they should wrestle again, Jericho should win and Jericho should then challenge Taker to a "rubber match" at Wrestlemania.
And personally I think Edge is great as a face and I'm usually ready to change the channel when he's on as a heel.
If Edge is in the Rumble, why wait till number 30 for him to come out. That's gotten old. I say put him in at number 2 and let him go the distance. Number 1 can be Orton or Punk, who I don't think like Edge right now for various reasons, then number 30 can be Jericho.
