John Cena hated that I used the word "vomit" but to me thats what his championship belt made me do. Terrific Jack Handey reference sir. Kudos to you.

I get that the spinner belt (or superbling-a-go-go thing since it doesn't spin anymore) sells a lot of replicas, just as the smoking skull and Rock's personalized belts did. THe difference is, when the individual lost thei belt, it reverted to what it was, with the replicas of the "personalized" belts still being sold, and doing quite well IIRC.
By keeping the new design, it's almost like they're afraid that, while people would buy the smoking skull or brahma bull title replicas after they'd gone away, no one would care about the bling belt unless it was still in use.

I just hate how they kept the design all this time. I don't like seeing it on other guys like Triple H, Batista, Jeff Hardy, although I honestly think it looks okay on Orton. It was just a silly way to make more money really. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

That belt JBL was holding was, hands down, my favorite of the WWE championship belts. I just loved the design of it. Can someone give me a basic photo of that belt so I can use it in my signature?
Other than the feud between John Cena and Edge where Edge made the "Rated R Spinner", that belt's a piece of crap.

I have nothing to add except that I still find the way Cena said "Wrestlemania TWENTY-TWOOOOOOOOOO?!?!?!" to be very funny.

The WWE title looks like a joke now and has pretty much been treated like one too. How many title changes has there been this year? I guess since Cena will ultimately ended up getting the belt back two months after losing it the WWE just figured why waste the time, money and effort to keep changing the belt, although Orton did hold the belt for a good portion of this year.

WWE is not known for having its finger on the pulse of popular culture. In fact, the time it takes for bulletins on popular culture developments to reach WWE should probably be measured with a system somewhat akin to light years. Light years tell distance, not time. ;D It could be like the Kessel Run in Star Wars. So fast, he made it in under 12 parsecs.

This moment was all kinds of awesome. Cena and JBL had f***ing great chemistry, I loved their feud. Not to mention, I dig the spinner belt when it's on Cena. I don't like it so much on anyone else and I wish it would've remained a Cena-exclusive thing, but oh well. Still a great f***ing moment.

It must present itself as the ultimate piece of gold that one should go after. It shouldn't look like a rhinestone-covered whachajigger.

Seriously: this is what a belt should look like. Except for the "Triple H" nameplate. ;D

I wouldn't have minded it had it not lasted long like Stone Cold's Smoking Skull belt. But they actually made that monstrosity into the actual belt just because kiddies bought it in their droves. Urgh.

the huge "CHAMP" on it is awful. whole belt is just one gigantic bag of ass. I find the MON NITE RAW on the sideplate to be more irksome. You know what's telling? They removed the option to switch back to the old belt in the last couple of SvR games. You put that belt on your, for example, Bret Hart CAW and it looks ridiculous.
