Katie Lea to turn face?

saw this at the Slam Wrestling site

WWE Smackdown house show results from Leipzig, Germany, on November 12: Mickie James and Katie Leah defeated Beth Phoenix and Michelle McCool

be interesting to see if this turns into anything or if it was just a one shot house show thing.

It's an unwritten rule of the WWE: you're almost ALWAYS a face in your home country/city (see: Bret Hart in 1997, Layla for that week that SmackDown was in Miami, and William Regal in England...sorta) Seeing as Katie Lea is actually from Germany (she was, look it up...wait, don't), I'd just chalk it up to that.

At the SD!/ECW house show tonight, she was a face with Mickie again, probably just for the house shows.

Hopefully it's just a one-off thing as mentioned. Since Katie seems like someone who in any capacity besides as Paul's ambiguously bi evil manager wouldn't be at all interesting.

I made the comment in the ECW thread that if Burchill loses Katie should come back as the Hurricane's sidekick. And she should be dressed like Wonder Woman.

It would be one way to turn her face.

I think she's going to cost Paul the match on ECW this week. They've kind of hinted at it on wwe.com, watch last week's "Ask the Divas" and count how many times she says "What's up with that?"

That is what I have been thinking. They teased her being infatuated with Hurricane a week or two back, so I could see her taking the old Mighty Molly role.
