As much as I mark for nostalgia, Mooney's time as a "serious sports" commentator has come and gone now that old-school kayfabe is dead and buried. Aside from (hopefully) a recovery by one Jim Ross, there is only one man who can SAVE.US.NOW:  SAVE.US.JBL |

hell i would watch that, id prefer dusty was colour for all the shows, atleast id be entertained Now that I think about it, it could be fun. "Wekkum to E C dubba, baybeh! If he's a backstage interviewer, I'd mark. But keep him away from play by play. He was as bad at that as Adamle. It has been quite awhile since I heard him call a match, and granted I was a kid at the time but I generally picked up on stuff like that even then and I recall him being capable enough. He certainly never annoyed me like Cole, Pettingill, Adamle, or current Lawler do. |
