I really enjoyed the video. I think it's interesting whenever WWE will go back into their vault and show the old-school stuff, basically saying "Hey, remember when pro wrestling wasn't a 2-hour bad sketch comedy show?" Considering how much they push their current product, it's always refreshing when they show some of their old stuff, but then it makes people who have been wrestling fans for 12+ years like me be sad that those times are gone.

The lack of the curtain call saddened me, but it was an excellent package nontheless.

Great song and video. Nice change of pace. Would be cool to have more hip hop as theme songs for PPV's etc. A lot of these metal songs they use sound the same.

I really like this song, and the video was just awesome-amazing. The footage brings back some seriously great moments in WWE history ... kinda reminds you why we ever watched in the first place and why some of us keep watching.
The footage of Eddie made me smile. The shot of Owen came out of left-field and got me a little choked up for a couple seconds.
Just a great package.

I didn't know what was worse. Jay-Z or Black Eyed Peas on Raw. Give me generic nu-metal anytime. I disagree wholeheartedly. I don't mean any disrespect at all, nor do I want to turn this into a race issue, but I get sick of all of the heavy metal bullcrap that I have to endure with them every week. It was a nice change of pace. As a proud African-American, there was a time when I wondered if WWE had ever heard a song done by an African-American artist. Every month, it seems to be, "We would like to thank Saliva, Evanescence, Drowning Pool, etc. for the PPV theme." Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all types of music. In fact, I await the day that a farewell video is accompanied by country music star, George Strait's, "The Cowboy Rides Away." However, it was a nice change of pace. Fair enough but it has nothing to do with race for me. I don't like that type of music is all. I'm not a nu-metal fan either but I prefer it to that genre of music. And I'm aware that Boom Boom Pow was used in a comedy segment but I hate the song and cant stand hearing it and am not a fan of Black Eyed Peas AT ALL. The video itself was well done but I just do not like hip-hop.

Great video and I love the song. One teeeeeeeny problem. Where the snork was Kane's MSG return from 2002?! I was there for that one and it wasn't even in the vid?! DAMN YOU WWE MUSIC VIDEO EDITORS!! *shakes fist* And no, Kane unmasking does not make it all better.

. In fact, I await the day that a farewell video is accompanied by country music star. WWE has already used a country music star in a farewell video. They originally used Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt" for Eddie Guerrero.

I liked the video but I can't stand that song. As a New Yorker, it has been overplayed to death here and is too closely identified with the Yankees at this point to be a good choice of song for the WWE. I would have preferred Sinatra's NY-NY. One of my favorite WWE videos was to another Sinatra song; My Way for Piper's first retirement.
As far as this whole rock vs. rap thing - I think we can all agree that Chris Masters can do his performance art to either type of music.
