If Big Show won't be down long they might just have Jericho carry around the tag titles for awhile and just not defend them until he returns.
Although, did just think of one thing... Don't really like them as heels and don't like Edge as a face, but could you imagine a Punk & Jericho vs. Edge & Christian match? That would be amazing.

I can't believe I get to be the first to nominate this man: For Jericho's replacement tag partner.

Damn, and it advertises Show vs. Cena for Albany on Dec. 26th for the Live Event. I wonder who will replace him...

I really get the feeling it will be Punk, Jericho's moves always have logic. He brought in the Big Show because he's a monster and a former world champ, he'll bring in Punk because he's an honest man and a former world champ.

Looks like they're intending to keep the titles on Show if possible. Guess if he won't be back in time they could easily sub in someone else at TLC, but as it stands I'm guessing Jericho and Show will face DX as planned (and hopefully lose).

I can't see this happening. Jericho at least drinks, doesn't he? Wouldn't that pretty much completely kill Punk's character? "My new partner is like me, injury-proof and strong unlike Edge and the Big Show. Someone who might even make me stronger through his rigid discipline, as hard as that is to believe. Someone who doesn't need pathetic enhancements to get through life. My new partner... Lance Storm!". A Thrillseekers reunion would be the best thing happening in the WWE the entire year. I would mark like crazy. And think about it: Storm could always start the promos by saying "If we could be SERIOUS for a minute!"

but on the plus side of all this. If Jericho does get to pick another partner to be champs with then he'd get to have three different tag team title runs without ever having to lose the belts in-between any of his reigns.
reminds me a bit of Sunny switching from managing the Smoking Guns (but not saying anything til afterwards) to getting part of the Godwinns managerial contract just before the Gunns lost the belts to the Godwinns so she could stay the manager of the champs.

UPDATE ON REY MYSTERIO INJURY AND PLANNED RETURN By Mike Johnson on 2009-11-24 10:55:41 Rey Mysterio is said to be planning to undergo a lesser surgery on his ACL that would allow him to return sooner than the more invasive surgery would. The hope within WWE is that Mysterio will return at the Royal Rumble.
The initial fear within the company was that he would be out 6-9 months, but Mysterio wants to get back in the ring as quickly as possible. He'll still need the full scale surgery down the line.
Mysterio did his scheduled book signing in Ridgewood, NJ last night. Mysterio was not selling the injury in any way. The signing drew around 500 fans.

Good idea Rey. Get a lesser surgery so you can get back in the ring and do more damage to your knee. Brilliant strategy, especially since the majority of your work impacts the knee area. There's no possible way this could backfire.

I've been a Rey fan for a long time, but the guy has given us all he's got. No shame in getting the surgery and calling it a career, in my eyes. I get that he wants to compete, and he loves the business...but if he keeps going, he's gonna be in a wheelchair before he's fifty. I'll second the retirement call, but for likely different reasons.

Seriously this has spoiler talk {Spoiler}OH GOD! Could Rey win the Rumble and then face Tista at Mania after Tista beats Taker at the Rumble which is being reported? PLEASE no. It's a hard enough sell with monsters like Show, Kane, ect. in the damn thing, to believe that what you had said could happen. With him being in the deteriorated condition he's in, it'd be even WORSE. {Spoiler}Though if he returns and costs Batista the match at RR somehow, I wouldn't object nearly as much. Especially if it leads to Rey being retired at Mania by Batista. That would also be poetic justice, since that's where Rey so arrogantly reitred JBL.
