Guess what Buckaroo Its NOT up to you. Texas is going. Deal with it. If that's true (which it probably is), Look for the SEC to now have four straight BCS Titles because Texas is going to be killed by Alabama. Just like Alabama was going to annihilate Utah last year Who knows what will happen. But seriously, holy shit.

My Mom's cousin is going to be happy. He's an Alabama graduate (who I imagine saw many football games when Bear Bryant was coaching.)

Of course the BCS triumphs. The system is rigged for them to do so. And even if Nebraska won they would have rigged the system so their own get the championship shot. They are corrupt to the core.

Since it was posted about 2 seconds before the thread got locked. TCU has the leftover kids that Texas doesn't want. I'm pretty sure Texas would love to have Jerry Hughes, and a lot of TCU's defense.

That may've been one of the worst games I've ever watched. Just a comedy of errors from both offenses.

Maybe because they're a better football team? Just like how Alabama was better than Utah last year and how Oklahoma was a far superior team to Boise in '05. And THANK YOU. But no, they were just "disappointed" and "let down" by their opponents TCU and their Top 4 offense and Top 4 defenses are going to get someone in a BCS game, they're going to beat their asses, and I'm just hoping it's Florida they get a crack at.

Vince Young Longhorns these are not. If this Texas team shows up to Pasadena, Alabama is gonna pull a scene from Deliverance on live TV.

That game is on Nebraska's pathetic offense and that stupid out-of-bounds kick.
That said, there is NO way you could convince me that Texas is the number 2 team in the country. There is just no way.
One day years from now this broken system will be changed, and when it does college football will be all the better for it.
You just know Nick Saban is licking his chops right now though.

Eight team playoff this year would be insane. Shame we aren't going to get it.

I will say Ingram better get the Heisman nod over Mccoy.

I will say Ingram better get the Heisman nod over Mccoy. Ingram and Gerhart would be my #1 and #2. Spiller, McCoy, and Tebow fighting for #3.

Roll your eyes if you like, but that's exactly why those games turned out how they did. Top 4 offense, and Top 4 defense IN THE MOUNTAIN WEST CONFERENCE. Lets remember that. Look, I'm all for someone like Utah getting their shot last year when they were the only unbeaten. I also understand that they would have been completely annihilated by Florida TCU probably will beat Florida in the Sugar Bowl. Good for them if they do. But if you don't think Florida's extreme disappointment about being there is a factor you're kidding yourself. I agree with you guys on the system being terrible, and I'd love to see Cincinnati and TCU get their shot. But it is what it is, and it's giving us what it's designed to do. Matching up the two teams who had the most impressive regular seasons. We need to quit acting like Nebraska is West Texas State or something.

I will say Ingram better get the Heisman nod over Mccoy. Ingram and Gerhart would be my #1 and #2. Spiller, McCoy, and Tebow fighting for #3. I'd put Gerhart at #1 (hard to argue with 1,700 yards and 27 touchdowns), Ingram at #2, and Suh at #3. Suh has no shot because he's defense, but he dominated tonight and cemented he'll be the number 1 pick in the Draft. Tebow and McCoy were shut down in the biggest game of the season for each guy.
