Dominos circa 1992 was a great pizza.... I have no idea why they ever stopped making it that way

I have one next store to my place, maybe I'll give it a try, but I'd really rather not give them anymore of my money.

Pizza's like sex. Even when it's bad, it's still not bad.

I tried it, and to put it in a totally PC way:
IT WENT STRAIGHT THRU ME. Seriously, I ate it and was on the toilet about an hour later.

People hated Dominos? Everyone I know raves about it and I've never, ever cared for it. Nice to see they're trying to sort it out.

I really like the new recipe. Only thing I hate about the place is my local one doesn't let you order online. I hate phoning in an order so until they get up with the times I'll continue ordering papa john's online.

Tried it over the weekend. I'm glad that their tomato sauce doesn't taste like ketchup anymore, but aside from that and a damn near undetectable hint of garlicky flavor on the crust, my family and I couldn't tell the difference. And they raised the price of each pizza by 36 cents, so there's that difference, too. Still tastes like cardboard when it cools off. So yeah, I'll stick to the local pizza places; not only are their pizzas actually large (14 inches is NOT large, it's medium), but they're $5 each as opposed to $11.50. I really like the new recipe. Only thing I hate about the place is my local one doesn't let you order online. I hate phoning in an order so until they get up with the times I'll continue ordering papa john's online. Glad I'm not the only one who hates phoning an order in! Don't have a Papa John's around here, though, and the local Pizza Hut doesn't deliver.

I never had an issue with the old version. My expectation-level was basically set at the level where, so long as I didn't get sick from it, I wouldn't complain considering my friends and I each got our own pizza for $7 or so. And you know what? Except for that one time, I never complained..... Its like going to McDonald's and asking why their burgers are not as good as authentic burger joints that charge 3-5 times as much. You want premium pizza, go to the pizzeria. You want drunk-food for cheap to soak up the alcohol in your belly, call Dominoes and scrounge up your loose quarters to cover the cost and for a generous $1.38 tip. Its a rite of passage and the college kids of today are being robbed of it now. Pfft, I'll tell you now that the college kids aren't being robbed of anything. Tons of college kids call us.
