Anyone try the new Dominos?

The 1st time I tried the "new" version I was drunk. It was better than when I remember in college but then again I was drunk most of it then too but still it was some good pizza

I liked it and it does taste better then the old kind. I'd also suggest there deep dish. Now it's not really deep dish as it like a normal size pizza from another place, but I liked it better then the normal Domino's size.

I just had Dominoes about 30 mins ago. I didn't notice a difference and forgot about this new marketing campaign.

Hey, you know the Hemme family is a little different. There's no reason to put them out of work.

If I can be Lance Storm for a minute, I tried it and really enjoyed it. It's more filling, imo. I'm not really a pizza connisseur (or a great speller), though. My only concern is that they seem to come out a little burnt on occassion. I think it's the butter/oil whatever they coat the crust in. I've never gotten a pizza even slightly burnt from that Domino's before. It was still easily edible, though.

I don't live nor go to school close to a Domino's (I know where one is but I got every other pizza chain between where I am and where it is), but I have heard it's almost like they were trying to copy Papa John's, though still leave it somewhat unique.

We only have three in the hometown, and until our Pizza Hut stops sucking and Pizza Shoppe stops being expensive as all hell, it's Casey's until further notice (especially since it's across the street from where I work).

Its much much better than it used to be, I love pizza but I F'ing HATED dominoes with a passion. Now its passable, good enough that I can't complain but there are much better pizzas out their.

Hey, I worked at Godfather's pizza, not Domino's. And for your information, I never put my buttcheeks on the pizza. Okay, one time I may have farted on the chicken wings, but that's it.

I never had an issue with the old version. My expectation-level was basically set at the level where, so long as I didn't get sick from it, I wouldn't complain considering my friends and I each got our own pizza for $7 or so.

And you know what? Except for that one time, I never complained.....

Its like going to McDonald's and asking why their burgers are not as good as authentic burger joints that charge 3-5 times as much. You want premium pizza, go to the pizzeria. You want drunk-food for cheap to soak up the alcohol in your belly, call Dominoes and scrounge up your loose quarters to cover the cost and for a generous $1.38 tip. Its a rite of passage and the college kids of today are being robbed of it now.

Except that IMO Dominos fell far behind Pizza Hut, the other great drunk-food pizza. So it's not like it was unfavorably compared to some great Pizzera. It was compared unfavorably compared to itself

I'd rather order breadsticks or cinnasticks than their shitty excuse for a "new" pizza.
