A few notes:
I was going to review the 2nd episode I found, but it was pretty much the same as the last one. Gilligan reading a comic, and a bunch of unfunny crap going on.
It still boggles my mind that Tom Ruegger went from this to later being a producer for Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, and the like.
Since Tina Louise was so adamant not to be involved with the series, so far as to make them change Ginger's design, why even put the Ginger character on the show? Just replace her with Herbie the Robot or something.

Did Jim Backus reprise his role as Thurston Howell III? If so, he went from Mr Magoo (as well as the live action gilligans island), to that. So we had a rise to glory (with Tom Ruegger moving on to the silver age WB shows) and a fall from grace with Backus

So we had a rise to glory (with Tom Ruegger moving on to the silver age WB shows) and a fall from grace with Backus All the original actors played the roles Except for Tina Louise, who was done with the Ginger character, and wanted no part of any reunions. This was also one of Jim's final roles before his passing in 1989

Okay, so the professor builds a rocket ship to get off the island yet can't fix the damn hole in the side of a boat?

Okay, so the professor builds a rocket ship to get off the island yet can't fix the damn hole in the side of a boat? I find it funny that the show itself had a multitude of guest stars, all easily able to enter and exit the Island, yet the castaways couldn't think to logically fix a boat, or build a plane. But then again, with Gilligan around, he'd likely destroy whatever they were building anyways.

Yeah, you'd think after a couple failed attempts they would have tossed gilligan off a cliff. Or after building the spaceship, found a way to ditch him, and leave him on the damn island so they can go the hell home. I always find it funny that cartoons from that era seem to take things to the nth degree. For example, it's not enough to have a rock band touring the country solving mysteries, but now they're in space! Or it's not enough to have the antics of the three stooges so let's turn them into robots or the globetrotters into superheroes. It's like some unwritten rule that when a premise has run it's course to then take the characters and put them in space or something equally as odd. Hey FSin any thoughs about doing the Gary Coleman show?

Hey FSin any thoughs about doing the Gary Coleman show? If i can find some footage, it's definitely on my list. Hell, the villain's name was Hornswoggle wasn't it? That's enough incentive. Right now though, the one I want to do the most but can't find a scrap of an episode is HammerMan. I remember it being poorly animated, and just awful.

I despised Hammerman and his shoes and him coming out of the wall and everything else about that show as a kid. oh, and you should review "Waynehead" The cartoon that made you constantly play with the volume button because the show was so low and the commercials were so loud.

ROBOCOP: ALPHA COMMANDO deserves a review, as does Captain N. Captain Planet has been YouTube Pooped to death, although the Hitler episode and the drug addiction one are both comically bad and could use individual inductions.

Funny enough, never really liked Animaniacs. Loved Tiny Toons, Pinky and the Brain was okay, but never could get into Animaniacs.

I'm kinda in the same boat, though there were some segments in Animaniacs that i liked. I just used Animaniacs as the prime example considering it's most people's favorite.
