So i've been watching cartoons from my childhood and as a music mark I was wondering if there is a place or a site where you can purchase or download some background music that goes on during scenes from the show. Some of this stuff I can listen to over and over.
Does such a place exist?

I wish I could. I've only found old themes.
If you produce music old cartoon music, 40's, 50's, 60's tv shows and movies make some of the best loops.
