Don't you hate when a TV show either starts up a story, or teases something cool and menacing, only to never mention it again? Oh how annoying.
Heroes - Remember that chick that got her poor butt left behind in time? Not your lucky day lady. You don't even matter ever to those characters! Buffy the Vampire Slayer - That episode with the eggs, and that ending where its revealed more eggs were laid in a nest under the high school: Soon to hatch, oh no! Or not.
Star Trek: TNG - That (pretty good) early run episode with the Body Snatcher-type insectoids from outer space that nearly take over the Federation. The creatures are destroyed, but not before they emit a signal to their "homeworld"* across the galaxy.
I guess they weren't home, out for pizza or something.
Star Trek: The Original Series - "A Piece of the Action" (the Mob planet episode), there is a big fuss about how because of some careless guy from years back leaving behind a book about Chicago gangsters, the alien natives modeled their whole society. Anyway the ending with one of the characters accidentally left behind a Tricorder. Not a real one I guess, but it came to mind.
Doctor Who (Old Series) - What happened to Ace?
John Doe - Cancelled before it was explained why and how the hero's bar buddy turned out to be the villain.
*=Supposedly, it was meant to be the Borg at one point or another.

The storyline of what made Max so important in Dark Angel. The show was cancelled after an awesome season 2 finale directed by James Cameron himself, and seemed to really be going somewhere. Ironically, the show was canned to make room for Firefly, which they then also cancelled.
However, if you watch the season 2 finale on dvd with commentary, they explain where the storyline was heading. There were also two novels written that brought closure to the storyline, but none of that counts IMO.
I was also angered that Dogget and Reyes were not even mentioned in the second X-Files movie. What the hell happened to them?

The entire Kimberly and Tommy storyline from Power Rangers with the Kimberly sending the dear john letter to Tommy to break up with him. I mean seriously they could've explain why Kimberly did it in the Turbo Movie, but they didn't. They just ignore it all together.

I think you're confusing "Conspiracy", the body snatcher episode with "The Neutral Zone". The season 1 finale. Although I could be wrong and the story's were linked. "The Neutral Zone" had Federation and Romulan colonys in the Neutral Zone destroyed totally and they blamed each other, that was later explained as a Borg attack.

The very first Itchy and Scratchy and Poochie Show episode ended without Itchy and Scratchy getting to the fireworks factory.

I checked the thread to see if it was mentioned. Surprised to see it made it in the first post. Must be a record. I've never understood why people knit-pick this. Does anyone honestly give a rat's ass what happened? Or are they just looking for something to complain about?

Teen Titans(The series. I'm not going to attempt to make sense of the comic one): So, what the hell happens to Terra? She says she doesn't remember anything, but is she stuck that way?

Teen Titans(The series. I'm not going to attempt to make sense of the comic one): So, what the hell happens to Terra? She says she doesn't remember anything, but is she stuck that way? It's kind of implied that she does remember but wants to put all the horrible stuff that happened behind her and forget it all. Heres a big one from me. Transformers Animated, because of ROTF here's what we don't know What happened to Skywarp, Slipstream ,and Thundercracker? Whats going to happen with Blackarachnia and Waspinator? What will Soundwave do next? What are Swindle and Lockdown up to? Was Meltdown regenerating? What exactly kicked off the war between the Decepticon's and Autobots *It's been hinted by Wyatt that the Decepticon and Megatron were originally in the right in the beginning of the conflict* When will Ultra Magnus, Sentinel Prime, Red Alert, Wheeljack, and Perceptor catch their comeuppance for all the dirty stuff they did? Is Blurr possibly still alive? What happened to the Protoforms Yokitron was guarding when Lockdown stole them and killed him? Yeah thanks alot Hasbro and ROTF.

ER: Who attacked Dr Greene?
Greene was assaulted in the mens room by an unknown assailant. He always believed it was the angry brother of a patient who died a few episodes before (due to Greene's precieved racist judgement call).
Greene eventually confronted him, and he denied it. I dont remember there ever being a resolution to the story. It's frustrating because the attack and the aftermath had a HUGE effect on him.

This one always has bugged me. During early seasons of NCIS, it was established that Jenny Sheppard's dad was dead. But she met with a retired general who told her that her father had been there 3 weeks prior, smoking a cigar. She also came home and found a bottle of scotch in her study when she had it tested for fingerprints, it came back as belonging to her father. She deleted the results, or thought she did, as Abby retrieved them and then told Gibbs later.
After Jenny's death, the whole matter was dropped. But they haven't tackled the question on whether or not her father is still alive. Hell, they still haven't figured out who killed Rene Benoit, who was mixed up in the whole situation with her father.
I hope they eventually cover this storyline, but who knows.
As to what happened to Ace in Doctor Who, that one bugged me for awhile as well. At least she didn't suffer the fate that Adric did. The words he uttered ... "Now I'll never know if I was right."

Do you have to be forcefed everything? As far as Ace goes, I always assumed the Doctor dropped her somewhere before he went off to pick up the Master's remains and take them to Gallifrey. Given the Eighth Doctor's amnesia, he could have just forgotten about her.

I was also angered that Dogget and Reyes were not even mentioned in the second X-Files movie. What the hell happened to them? Don't take it so easy on The X-Files. Pretty much EVERY storyline on XF was frustratingly unresolved, but the main offender is the conspiracy mytharc, which basically ends with everything up in the air and the world screwed.

That's always bugged me. They completely dropped that entire storyline at the start of Season 5. I always assumed Jenny shot and killed La Grenouille, but the whole matter with her father and whether he was dead or alive... we don't know what to think. With Jenny long gone, they'll probably leave that entire story untouched.
