I thought of another one. The Tribe. What happened after the virus was released yet again? ...... Finally someone else who knows that show!

Star Trek: The Original Series - "A Piece of the Action" (the Mob planet episode), there is a big fuss about how because of some careless guy from years back leaving behind a book about Chicago gangsters, the alien natives modeled their whole society. Anyway the ending with one of the characters accidentally left behind a Tricorder. Not a real one I guess, but it came to mind. quote]
Just for your edification, the NES game "Star Trek 25th Anniversary" does revisit that storyline (to less-than-satisfying results, but then again that whole game is a piece of turd).

Be back in this thread with a whole mess of 'em as soon as LOST ends. ;D There are already plenty which probably won't get resolved, such as Libby, the Hurley bird, etc. etc.

I was also angered that Dogget and Reyes were not even mentioned in the second X-Files movie. What the hell happened to them? Honestly, I never thought of them again. I'd assume that's the way it's supposed to be. And this is from a huge X-Files fan. Doggett had his moments but meh. He just wasn't Mulder.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - That episode with the eggs, and that ending where its revealed more eggs were laid in a nest under the high school: Soon to hatch, oh no! Or not. I checked the thread to see if it was mentioned. Surprised to see it made it in the first post. Must be a record. I've never understood why people knit-pick this. Does anyone honestly give a rat's ass what happened? Or are they just looking for something to complain about? Seriously!? It wasn't even that good of an episode! It was a so-so episode with a funny virgin joke at the end. Why would people want a follow up to that?

Because Whedon had a tendency to carry out his foreshadowing through to, and probably past, it's logical conclusion(I'm looking RIGHT at you, Dawn, you whiny bitch of a character), so when it was shown, people probably thought that something HUGE was going to be made of it down the line, and when it never was, people got a little pissy.

Does anyone honestly give a rat's ass what happened? Or are they just looking for something to complain about? Yeah. Who's to say the Scoobies didn't find the eggs and deal with them off-screen? Do you have to be forcefed everything? That's pretty much word for word what I said the last time it came up. The thing is that it was nothing more then a filler. So having a few more of them would not have only have been a waste of time, but it would have taken away a chance to see one of the other episode ideas they had. I'm sure Whedon could have made a great episode with it, but even then people might have been complaining that it was stale.

Mr. Turner mentioned again on Boy meets World. Minkus, another character who had disappeared, said he was in the other side of the school, where the main characters don't go because they may never come back.

Star Trek 25th Anniversary was a great game. Okay, it wasn't, but it was playable for a licensed property.
Buffy was in X-Files Mode at that time. In latter seasons, the Mantis Demons would have their own bar and be shown to be upstanding members of society, when Sunnydale made the jump from Sleepy small town to College Town. Yeah, I didn't get that either.
Re: Conspiracy: I'm pretty certain the aliens were supposed to lead to something. At that time in the series, the main villians (Read: New Klingons) were at first going to be the Ferangi, but greed wasn't as solid a concept for a villian as Gene Roddenbury's sermon on the subject lead it to be. The Next Idea was the Conspiracy Aliens, which was alluded to in two episodes, but was never picked up again. The third concept was the borg, but they were originally an insectoid species, not cyborgs. And they were to strike the Neutral Zone. But then Q interfered, and somehow changed the timeline and everything, so.

On "The Office", after Oscar gets outed and has his disagreement with Angela, but then they teased the two of them becoming somewhat friendly before returning their relationship to the original status quo. I always thought they should have kept them friends, if only then there would be something likeable about her character.

How 'bout the one where it turns out it's all in Buffy's head?

For me it begins and ends with WMAC Masters.
The dragon star is stolen. Tracer and Warlock are last seen with it with Tsunami. Then nothing.
