So, I'm watching TV, and they was a commercial for the new Edge of Darkness movie, about Mel Gibson trying to find the guy who shot his daughter. This reminded me of the other movie with a plot like it, with the guy trying to get revenge on the guy who killed his girl. You can also probably lump that Law Abiding Citizen movie together, since it was kinda recent.
Anyone else get that vibe?

They've been killing daughters and getting revenge for it in movies a while. The Crossing Guard from 14 years ago. It was directed by Sean Penn who starred in Mystic River where his daughter was killed.
