Yes, I'm watching it. The only sane one is Maci.

I'm glad that after MTV showing teen girls that its cool to be whores for so many years they're finally showing there might be a price to pay for acting like the brain dead bimbos they glorify.

Yes, I'm watching it. The only sane one is Maci. I haven't watched this show yet, but did watch 16 & Pregnant and her boyfriend was dumber then a pile of bricks. I don't get how people can stay will people like that even after having a kid with that person. Also I would talk more about young girls getting pregnant, but I feel it would get me banned as it would go into certain political stuff.

I have no reason to see this. I saw plenty of it in high school.

It's crazy. You have to go to school to be a doctor. You have to take physical tests to join the army and you have to have license to drive. But anybody can be a parent.

Any shows about being a teenage mother are enough to make me want to punch a wall. It angers me how they expect the world to fall at their feet because they were stupid idiots who couldn't keep their legs shut. I don't mind the ones who get a job and want to make a life for their child, but the ones who sit on their backsides all day and complain how they don't get any benefits + housing really fustrate me.

My home town is the teen pregnancy capital of Oregon. They should do a show there, it would have crossover appeal with the "Cops" crowd.

It's crazy. You have to go to school to be a doctor. You have to take physical tests to join the army and you have to have license to drive. But anybody can be a parent. Anyone can breed. It takes good human beings to make parents. I've been thinking about watching this show, but I can't. The only one of these "shows" that I can watch on MTV is Bully Beatdown, and only when the featured MMA fighter is someone that I've seen fight before. They've had some crap fights, but the one where Jake Shields fed some pseudo tough guy his lunch made me smirk. Anyhow, someone I became very good friends with got pregnant in high school. She had to wait a bit before going back and getting her diploma and then got some schooling and is doing what she can to raise her daughter. I've tried to help her out, but she's way too proud to take money from me. Won't take money from friends, she says. But this isn't the type of woman that is probably featured on this show.

Yeah, Grendel, someone like your friend would never be on this type of show because she's too normal. For example, there's one girl on Teen Mom where Her mother is married to the father of her kid's father. And the dad has the greatest mullet ever.

I had to live it a few years ago. My older brother got a 16 year-old pregnant. Of course, they eventually married, divorced, and he still has the kid (she's about 3 months younger than me and is leagues more immature).

I could have sworn I've seen these girls before. Weren't they on 16 and Pregnant or something? I actually feel sorry for everyone but the one named Maci. She seems to have her head on straight. Farrah, she's attractive, but it kinda sucks to be in her position. She could get any guy she wants, but no one is going to go near her because of the kid. I mean she got dumped by a football player because he said he isn't man enough to handle a relationship with a kid.
Amber...her fiance is a giant douchebag and he weighs like 450 pounds. She has no job, no money, and she's trying to get her GED.
Catelynn. I am so confused by her whole situation. Her mom is married to her boyfriend's dad, so wouldn't that make the two related?
Maci...her boyfriend is also a douchebag but the last episode I saw, they got back together. She seems to be the most sane out of the 4 though.

I've watched bits and pieces of it just to see how horrible it was. That Amber girl is so bitchy and annoying. I saw her complaining to her boyfriend that her car wasn't working, and he needed to get her a new one. Yet the dude was at work, and she also said he was paying everything for her. I'd be a jerk too if I had to put up with that.
I think it was the Farrah girl change her child near the top of the stairs on a commercial. I never saw that episode, but I don't think she's really much of a parent. She seems like she's always going out while her daughter is with her mom. She needs to get a reality check and come to the realization that she has a kid, and now has different priorities then going out with friends like taking care of her daughter.

Yeah, after watching the latest episode, I can definitely agree that Farrah isn't a good parent. She wants to party and be a teenager but what she doesn't understand is that she has a kid! She's getting pissed at her folks because they want her to take more responsibility! Oh the horror! I mean, she went to this guys apartment and he basically told her she should be home with her kid, and she gets pissed. WTF!

I'll say it once, I'll say it again.
1. MTV has spent the last twenty years telling teenagers to have sex, but it's now horrified at the idea of teenagers having kids? You can't lament moral decay while at the same time run bisexual dating shows with creepy looking petites that showcase moral decay.
2. So, Reality Killed the Video Star?

I will say this though, the dude named Tyler, he's 16 and is wise beyond his years. I think he's the only bright spot on this show.
