Cutler's postgame interview includes 3 questions about Favre. God almighty...... "Jay, congratulations on leading your team down the field for the win in OT. Some would say your throw was not quite as impressive as Brett's in 1996. Your thoughts?" "..."

Cutler's postgame interview includes 3 questions about Favre. God almighty...... Question 1: How was it like playing against Brett Favre on Monday Night Football? Question 2: What do you think Brett Favre had for dinner? Question 3: What do you think Brett Favre will wear to bed tonight?

Seriously, the Favre treatment is how a living legend is treated. If Brady, Manning, Big Ben, and Romo are all playing well when they're 40, they're going to get the exact same treatment Favre is getting now. It's how a player of his status is going to be treated.

He's an egomanic as a result of the media and the rediculous ballwashing he gets every single week. Cutler plays his ass off, and in is own interview after a hard fought win, he gets asked about Favre, as the camera cuts to Favre walking away......are you kidding me?

Bears win...?
f***ing peachy that they've still got Brett's mug on the front page of NFL.com, shouldn't it be that guy who threw the winning f***ing touchdown?
I wish I could find that old photoshop of the care bears, well they just screwed your chances of a week off Minnesota Favre.
Well played Chicago.

I seriously hope The Vikings win the Super Bowl. So do I. Then again a) I like Farve and b) I really want to see what excuses people come up with to hate him if he wins.

Fans of the game do NOT need to be beaten over the head with this hero worship bullshit

I seriously hope The Vikings win the Super Bowl. Why? Because I like Favre and a few of my good friends are Vikings fans and my team, The Panthers, aren't going to the playoffs.

And to be fair, there are plenty of egomaniacs in this league, and if they got the same insane coverage as Brett I'd hate that too. But they don't, he does. He's rammed down my throat every week like football jesus and I can't take it. He's the only damn QB in the league right now, including Brady and Peyton, who sails a ball about 2 feet to high on the throw to tie the game, makes his wide out jump out of his shoes to get it, and gets the announcers to proclaim that it was a masterful throw. Oh yeah, then as the extra point goes up Sidney Rice gets a mention for his obviously minimal effort in the ordeal. I don't hate Brett. The only time I do is in the off season when he plays hot potato with whatever team is courting him. It isn't his fault the media treats him like he's bigger than the league. But it's too annoying for me to take. I hope it's a swift playoff exit for the Vikes. Luckily thanks to them seemingly packing it in over the last fourth of the season, it just may be.

Yep, Option B is going to entertain the hell out of me if he wins it. Honestly, for as much as people complain about him and his media coverage I hear THEM more often than I hear the actual media they complain about. I also find it funny how personal so many people seem to take it and how they hate the man himself because of what the media chooses to do.

Because I like Favre and a few of my good friends are Vikings fans and my team, The Panthers, aren't going to the playoffs. That's cool. If the Cowboys don't win this year I would love to see the Vikings win it

The funny thing is MGH, I honestly hear more about Brett Favre from people bitching about him at work and here on the boards than I do from the media that everyone is bitching about in the first place.
