Since it's 2010 now, stuff from the '90's is practically "classic" now. So post some and talk about it if you will.

The first time I heard Nirvana on a classic rock station I felt so old.
Now if I ever hear the Melvins on a classic rock station I would be......surprised. They don't get played on the radio at all. Which is a damn shame.

Its 2010, and you posted a song about 1979, that was released in 1995. That must be some kind of nostalgia overload.

Hell yeah! I still rock out to this. RIP to an era where pretty much all of rap music had a purpose and message.

Probably because of the mellow atmosphere and it was targeted to the current 16 year olds of 1995 who were born in 1979.

Hell yeah! I still rock out to this. RIP to an era where pretty much all of rap music had a purpose and message. But..but rap stil has a purpose in its lyrics. Just now, the message is about dressing to go to a strip club, and activities that go on either at said strip club or immediately following said visit. Somewhere I picture Grandmaster Flash crying like teh Native American in the "Don't Litter" ads from the 70's.

This this this this this this this this this. A quintessential summer song, to me. And it just hold a lot of nostalgia. In general, I just think it's a f***ing fantastic song from an awesome album. It's too bad they suck now.
