2 more semesters of straight A's. Get myself in a better position to get accepted for the doctoral program I've been suggested for.
Also, being a more "people oriented" person may help. It'd be nice to have a decent girlfriend for once.

Not die. That's basically been my same one running for at least 10 years now, I figure it's the best one.

In case anyone deals with cynics who claim you shouldn't make them because you never keep them. Well, here's the response. What these resolutions are, is using the oppurtunity of the New Year to evauluate the course of one's life, and amend it where needed. Didn't Plato say, that a life unexamined isn't worth living? If that doesn't work, then the next proverb to quote is, "Get behind me, Satan!" Trust me, I examine my life enough. Too much, possibly. That's how I know resolutions don't work. Probably because I spend too much time examining them.

Lose weight... very common one I know but trust me, it applys to me.
Also, not let negative people in my life. I've met alot of people who's negativity has rubbed off on me and has made me a depressed and bitter person from time to time. And I've noticed that when I associate with positive people then I become more postive and more motivated. So my big resoulution is to not let negative people in my life and if I do let them in, don't let them get me down.

Most of mine revolve around generally being a better grown-up: stop buying so much stuff off the internet at 4 am, respect the work deadline, get my ass in the kitchen instead of copping out at Taco Bell. That kind of stuff.

Oh, and to hook my Wii up to the internet again so I can go back to making the Japanese kids cry at Mario Kart. You know, grown up stuff.
