I'm sure they wouldn't induct Owen without his wife's permission. Its similar to how they probably could put Bruno Sammartino into the Hall, but won't because he refuses to accept it. Martha Hart hates WWE, and in her book she basically said Owen hated wrestling and he only did it as a means to support their family. So I don't think he'll ever be in the HoF. That's Martha's POV. The question is: who is more likely to speak for Owen - the bitter wife who told Vince (and the public) at the funeral there would be a day of reckoning or the brother who knew him from childhood and could probably best speak for him and, oh, by the way, is at least talking with the E? Unless Martha really wants to go back to court and challenge Vince, I think she best just let it go, especially given Bret is working with the E, at least as far as this goes. The wife. It's not like Owen was born to a regular family and then decided to pursue wrestling despite not wanting to, he was born to one of wrestling's biggest families. I don't think it's be hard to believe that he'd tell her things he wouldn't dare tell his family, whose entire legacy was based on the business and every child had a connection to. There were reports that Shane's wife being an "outsider" to the business is what kept him down to earth with contacts well beyond the scope of others.
