After forcing myself to watch Raw this week (it's really gotten that bad), a thought occurred to me. All this inexplicable skit crap, the Tiger thing, Little Peoples Court... well, it's no secret that those of us who tune into a wrestling show for things that are actually kind of related to wrestling are getting sick of it. But it reminded me of a show from my childhood, Tuesday Night Titans. www.dailymotion.com/video/x3vq7g_tuesday-night-titansmagnificent-mur_sport (not sure if we can embed dailymotion here) Obviously the format would change slightly, like Superstars did with its return, but I got to thinking.... they're already talking about rebranding ECW. How about turning ECW into a rebirth of Tuesday Night Titans -- a one hour weekly show devoted to these silly skits and in-character interviews, the "entertainment" portion of the show. The stuff that doesn't necessarily push feuds or even really have anything at all to do with wrestling. A home for that stuff, so that Raw can return to once again being a decent wrestling show. Make Raw the flagship again, and have Smackdown become the place where the "new superstar initiative" takes place, along with some established stars, much the way the show is now. Yay? Nay? Would this be a good idea?

No, because they'd still put that stuff on RAW anyway. All that you'd get from turning ECW into Tuesday Night Titans would be RAW-style on 2 days rather than 1.
Also, we don't know if Syfy will even want a new WWE show after the contract expires, since no deal has been made yet.

When they do it on Mon, Tuesday already AND Fri, why would we need another show with this stuff? They need to ELIMINATE this aspect and focus more on promo work and actual wrestling.

Besides, I'm pretty sure Syfy rejected the "magazine-style" show already.

I know there are always going to be backstage skits and such on every show... but stuff like that Little Peoples Court is a new all-time low for Raw, in my opinion. It's one thing to have an actual in-ring segment like they had at the end of the show (which, fine, I'll admit, kind of warmed my cockles), but to devote solid programming time to pre-taped completely not-of-this-world things like that... those kinds of things belong on a variety show. It's obvious the E wants to continue turning their product into The Gong Show, so why not give them an hour of programming every week to get that out of their system, and return the other shows to the decent wrestling programs they always used to be?

Because they won't get it out of the way on one program. All that it will do is kill what wrestling does remain on ECW. They won't stop doing stuff like Little People's Court on RAW unless the ratings start tanking hard.

On the debut, Sheamus and Drew McIntyre do a comedy skit. Pure comedy Gold!

I picked Yes, but I would only support it if it is wrestling oriented and it comes on a channel that I have unlike Superstars that comes on WGN. Besides anything has to be better than RAW.

No.
An show like this in the current era would crash and burn spectactularly.

Not that long ago I would have said yes without even thinking about it.
Now, seeing the campy BS on RAW, I have no interest in an entire show dedicated to it
