So, eventually Legacy will split. I don't think its time just yet, but within the next 2 years is probably a safe bet.
Pretty soon, I would have Rhodes and Dibiase slowly break away from Orton. I think Ortons character is strong enough to stand on his own and honestly, I think Priceless has gotten enough of a rub to stand alone also.
I would have Rhodes and Dibiase continue to team together for a while, maybe a year, to moderate success. Eventually though, they go on a losing streak. After a few weeks, Ted Dibiase Sr., the Million Dollar Man, steps in to manage Legacy, gving them guidance as well as...ya know, money.
Despite this, Priceless continues to not do so great. This leads to Dibiase dropping Rhodes as a partner and bringing in his brother Brett Dibiase as his new partner. The Million Dollar Sons, along with their father managing them, win the tag titles and go on to be a dominant tag team.
This doesn't sit well with Rhodes, who keeps trying to go after The Million Dollar Sons with various partners (insert various mid-carders here, Primo, Bourne, etc.) but it never works out. Finally, Cody Rhodes makes a plea to his father to help out, but Dusty believes himself to be too old for active competition, and instead makes a suggestion for Rhodes partner: the eldest Rhodes son, Goldust.
Cody is shocked at this, believing his older brother to be a loser. Reluctantly, the two team up to success with their own father leading the way. Cody and Goldust also have various backstage skits with Cody being the straight man to Goldusts antics.
I know I'm splitting them up just to put them in other tag teams, but I think this could be fun.
