If they keep Hogan out of the TNA title picture, I can live with this. At most, a run with the Legend's belt since that's already a joke, would be acceptable. Definitely. If he must have a belt, give him the Legends belt and have him built it up to something of prestige.

I wonder what his entrance theme will be. I believe Jimmy Hart owns the rights to American Made, so if Hogan is a babyface (which I'm guessing he will be unless the fans turn on him), then American Made is probably the best bet.

NOW IT ALL MAKES SENSE!
Disney bought Marvel. Marvel currently has a land at Universal. Universal isn't going to want to keep paying their competition so they're gonna rebrand that island as TNA island and change the Incredible Hulk coaster to the Hulk Hogan coaster.

It seems im one of the only people here who's actually really excited about this. TNA hasn't been good to me for about 3 years now or so. Now i might be able to get through a show without turning the channel now. Hoping for Goldberg, Nasty Boyz, Bagwell, Sid, DDP, Monte Brown and Sting to return too than i'll be as excited about wrestling as I was 10 years ago.

I'm sorry, but I'm not very optimistic about this, unless Hogan's a manager for an up and comer or is just an on-air non-wrestling talent. I don't want to see Hogan become a champion again, I don't want to see Joe or Styles or hell, even LASHLEY lose a match to this man, with how well TNA's built that small bit of talent up.
Also...I just can't help but feel this is a major piece of gloom and doom. History's shown that when the four men (Russo, Ferrera, Bischoff, Hogan) get together, NOTHING good can come of it. I'm personally believing Ms. Carter has NO idea about wrestling's history.
Please prove me wrong, TNA, and keep Hogan FAR away from his wrestling boots as possible.

Hogan's debut interview, Desmond Wolfe comes up to him and intros himself. He then beats up Hogan.

Yeah, we aren't going to bicker about CMT programming. I get it -- you cannot stand Hulk Hogan or anything he is associated with. You got your point across, but the funny thing is, the numbers he brings into places where he is at (from the CCW show, to Hogan Knows Best, to his last WWE run) means that there is interest and money is generated wherever he goes. If he draws more people and more money to the TNA brand and TNA becomes a bigger company for it, your current favorites that work there will only earn more money and gain more notoriety. I don't see how that is a bad thing. You said it better than I possibly could and I agree. I'm always looking for a good excuse to upgrade my cable and start watching wrestling again. This could be one. Agreed. Harry Lockhart said it best. I haven't watched a single episode of modern wrestling since 2002. I can't name a single member of TNA except Kurt Angle and that's only because I read an article about it. But when I saw this thread title on the main page, I immediately clicked on it. It got my attention. Yes, I am a Hulkamaniac from 1985, but just hearing that he is showing up in a company that rarely anyone has ever heard of is a big deal. I still won't watch the shows or anything, but once I read that Hogan showed up then you better believe the first thing I write on YouTube search will be "Hogan TNA debut". What type of ratings, buyrates, and gates has TNA been doing anyway? Good, bad, mediocre?

Dixie needs someone to show her exactly what the hell happened to WCW once the NWO got old.
And what do you know? Ferrara, Russo, Bischoff, and Hogan were not only there during this period, they helped ruin it as well.

I firmly believe this is the end of TNA Didn't guys say the same thing about Hogan joining WCW? I wouldn't know I was in gradeschool at the time but look at his track record: he was dominant throughtout his original WWF run in the 80s and early 90s and he had creative control he goes to WCW squashes everyone with havin creative control, until Bash at the Beach 2000 when the Russo incident occur Hogan returns to WWE, doesn't have creative control and becomes mortal until getting wiped out by Lesnar He returns to WWE again and beats Shawn Michaels then has an "injury" so he can't job back to Michaels see the pattern?
