Alright...I stopped watching TNA for only two weeks, and tonight Foley was acting like a face defending Abyss from Dr. Stevie until Raven showed up.
Did I miss something significant? I had heard that Foley had a lot of heel/face turns in TNA already, but it's ridiculous that barely a month after his "BLOOD FEUD" with Abyss that he's already back on the other side.

He saved Abyss two weeks ago and last week declared that he was testing Abyss to see if he could take the hardcore mantle and run with or something to that effect.

I dont really get why people complain about Foley switching heel and face a lot.
Is it not sort of obvious by now that Foleys TNA character is supposed to be a really mentally unstable schizo who more often than not doesn't even know what he will do next, has multiple personalities and a really skewed perception of reality?
I got that pretty early on. Hes like Kane in WWE, a really random and confused personality who could be heel one month and face the next because he is INSANE.

They had a massive face/heel trade at the beginning of the month. Seems like Angle, Foley, and MCMG for Team 3D and Kong

And moreover, it actually works for Foley. I really sometimes wonder about certain supposed "smarks." They love to mock these promotions for all their "wrestlecrap" and how their intelligence is being insulted but then they seem to be unable to decipher a very straight forward, very simple concept for a character. Like, really guys, it's not James Joyce.

I like Foley's character but I wish TNA would do more to get over what it is exactly. Even I know what they're doing and I still find myself getting annoyed by his constant heel/face swerves... the announcers really don't do a great job getting characters like that across to the audience.

I think Kurt's face turn was more of a WTF than Foleys.
Hearing Kurt explain the reason the MEM was formed was for respect. He said "For me it was".
What? He wanted to take over TNA, He admitted with Nash that its all about the money. The only one who wanted respect is the guy they kicked out. Sting.

He either flat out lied then, or is doing so now, so neither way would make him look like a "good guy".
