Damn that sucks. The rating will still probably be decent though. I guess they may be holding his first appearance for a PPV, though if people pay for a PPV for no reason but to see Hogan waving hello, they might get a bit pissed. Those people buying shouldn't really be expecting much from Hogan though, i guess.

Hogan's tour of Australia is only a week or so after Turning Point, so he probably won't be doing much at all on TNA for a while.

Fun fact: Even though it was on during the height of wrestling's popularity, the highest rating ECW on TNN ever got was also a 1.3.
And yes, I know ECW never got any promotion and it's a good number. It's just a weird fact, that's all.

I watched to see Desmond Wolfe vs. Angle honestly, Desmond Wolfe drew me in the last 2 weeks. That was a factor for me, too, but Hogan is what made me stick around after that and World Elite had appeared. I dunno why, but I really enjoy Eric Young as a heel.

Stick to Hogan as a PPV draw, don't squander him on regular TV. TNA needs a true PPV draw.

Quarter ratings were :
1.21- Desmond Wolfe/Angle opening segment 1.27- Tara Vs. Flash, Team 3D lockerroom 1.26- MCMG Vs. Team 3D, Young Vs. Lashley 1.30- Young Vs. Lashley continues, Global Title introducition 1.24- Beautiful People Vs. Hamada/ Hemme 1.19- Abyss Vs. Dr Stevie, Morgan Vs. Rhino 1.24- Aftermath, West/Homicide, AJ Styles attacked 1.18- Desmond Wolfe Vs. Kurt Angle, Hulk Hogan footage
...which actually adds up to a 1.2 (1.24) rating for me...? Oh well.
Averaged 1.7 million viewers.

EY is doing great as a heel. I really don't understand all the complaints people have against him. People say he is bland or a rip off of Jericho or they say they can't take him seriously because of his old character and I don't understand any of those complaints. The guy is doing absolutely great and it is awesome that he is being given a chance, he is proving he is worth it.
